Here is a simple recipe to making stewed tomatoes. These will be ready to use all year. Just pull them out of the freezer. They are a great base to soups, chili, spaghetti sauce, marinara sauce and much more! You can use this same recipe if you wanted to can them as well. Just hot water bath can them for 15 mins and they are set. Enjoy!

Very nice video, short and to the point. My mother used to make this when we were kids. Dad , loved them with bread pieces as well. Will be cooking tonight.
So much neater than canning . Not all the heat in the kitchen from heating jars, lids and the hot water canner! Way easier!

How long does this last in the freezer? 6 months? Longer?
