other people can't appreciate her beauty and charisma face, she's 33 years old but she look young. she never aged, I appreciate her beauty and she's really good at act. i love her since I finished watching “Playful kiss” if y'all watch her drama, you will like her. I really love this girl, she's really kind with kids and good actress.
The age gap is so big , yet it isn't noticeable for 2 reasons
1. She looks young
2. Jaewookaa have a mature face from very early on and he can pull it off like pro

These two are the reason why "Alchemy...." is such a success. While II is very good, the story is not nearly as interesting without Somin! She makes season one so much more believable!

I liked the first season because of the storyline more but i didn't see any chemistry between them..i like the chemistry more in season 2

I like this story because of Mudeok's charm. And they definitely have a lot of chemistry. Just a gentle kiss and you can feel the overwhelming love.
Somin Jung deserves more recognition. I think she is one of the most underrated actress in Korean industry. The chemistry she brings in with each of her co-stars is just phenomenal - Playful kiss, Because this is my first life, The Smile has left your eyes, Monthly Magazine Home, now Alchemy of Souls - she has really good chemistry with all of her male leads.
She always success build good chemistry with her partner in drama. Please check her other drama because this is my first life, my father is strange and her movie Alice boy from Wonderland....she is so talented actress I enjoyed many of her dramas. She's deserved an award.
no. she is not underrated. she was very famous n great actor until now. maybe u just dont know about her. she is senior actress. many drama always use her to get high rated and to show off new actors like lee jae wook and other young actors in alchemy of souls. she is kind n very good

this is how i feel right now. i just started part 2 yesterday and i got really sad. i was also surprised she is the same age as i am but look so young. the story as to why they changed to a different face also didn't make any sense. while the now actress is also amazing, i feel like their connection is not there at all.

This pairing is like a chef's kiss in drama history🏆 I kind of understand why somin literally acts like she knows nothing about him. Jaewook is braver in that sense because him guessing answers means his respect to a senior, which in return, somin kinda wants to protect her image in order to prevent some kind of gossip or shipping of fans, especially considering his age, me thinks, which is very reasonable when you think about how unhealthy some fans can be 🙄 I respect both of them and love their acting in the drama. I hope to see them together in a comedy in the future!🥰

I do really like their tandem as Jang Uk and Mudeok in Alchemy of Souls Season 1. That’s why I miss Mudeok’s role in Season 2. A bit disappointed.
I’ve been really enjoying Alchemy of Souls - the cinematography, acting and characters are great! I really liked So Min in Because this is My First Life. She’s a great actress, and that ended up being one of my favorite kdramas due in part to how real and relatable her character felt. So I started watching this one for her and she didn’t disappoint. 😅
