I love to watch you work. I do love that sort of content. I just picked up a couple of skateboard decks, I was prepping them this afternoon, thank you for all the knowledge and tricks you're sharing with us.👍😁
Glad to see you’re active on TH-cam again! I remember asking you about brushing in the clear coat over leaf on instagram. Been doing it ever since. Thank you! Can’t wait for the second part of this project. 👏👏👏
Looking great so far! Plus any content is good content coming from someone as talented as an artist like yourself.
Thank you for sharing your process.
Fun to see how you layer your design.
Nice Work. Looking forward to seeing more.

I like the idea of using a microfiber towel. I will try that the next time The deck looks great. I have a problem with the edges coming up so it looks like I really need to make sure they are pressed down. Thanks 👍👍👍

Hello Jen,
Please, can you give us some tips or directions about how to use Dux ?
Thank you !
Hiya I may have gone over Dux info in the how to silver leaf video. Give that a look over. With any size give it a good stir. You can tint it with 1shot or another enamel paint, and also yoh can thin it if need be with pure gum turps. Take a look at that leaf video. Lots of insight
Is felt too coarse to use for engine turning? I only ask because you mentioned using velvet.
there are 2 main types of leaf, Genuine (real real gold and precious metals) and then Dutch/Imitation. Each one normally requires its different material to be able to make effects on the leaf. for Genuine yes felt would be too course. Velvet is preferred. But on dutch/imitation you can use various items to make effects that are considered more course. Check out my introduction to leafing material video it covers this, and why.
