I feel like if I lived here, I would make the entire upstairs the master bed, redo the bathroom, and make one of the rooms the closet connecting to the bathroom! That’s what I’d envision!❤
Allisa I have a painting tip! Have been remodeling our house recently and I’ve learned a lot through mistakes. Use frog tape! It’s more expensive but comes off way easier and is more gentle on paint. Also don’t let the tape sit too long. The second walls are done being painted gently lift the tape off! Hope this helps 😊

Random but I just found out Target online has a room planner and you can do all sorts of layouts and furniture/ wall colors or flooring! Seriously cool for home owners! It could help decide where to put furniture or what colors look good etc. even with new decor or plants it’s awesome 🤩 Ps love your long vlogs!

Future tip when painting the entire room - peel the tape off the same day you paint, when the paint is still slightly wet!! Once the tape sits it’s gets waaay to tacky and stuck like it did! Loved the vlog girl! ♥️♥️

definitely a bench for putting shoes on, a pillow or 2, etc. and then the black pictures above! With the window, you'd probably have to do a gallery wall or something since the bench will be centered but the pictures won't.... just an idea!! I love the new room setup

Your Dad is the best! When it comes to taking the tape off, don’t wait until the paint is 100% dry. If you do it when it’s 3/4’s of the way dry, it shouldn’t peel.
I think I heard from someone that you actually should take the tape off pretty much when your done painting, before it dries. 🤷🏼♀️ worth a try for the next room! :)

Regarding the closet. I think it would be nice if you took the door off and make that a shoe closet. That way they have their location and you have more room

I have been blessed with my husband when it comes to home improvement, he is a general contractor. Only knows old-school cars. But, I wouldn't trade him for anything.

I'm not for sure but I think you are supposed to remove the tape when the paint is still wet to prevent it from pulling the paint off.

Get yourself a seasoning called “The Blend” it’s salt, pepper n garlic all together!😉 It’s the best!
A tip I learned is to remove the tape when the paint is still wet so that it doesn’t chip pull or dry to where you can’t get it off 😅😊
