Hello Mark. I am not local. I was an annual visitor to Trevano. Such a beautiful place and my favourite Cornish garden. My last visit was the day it closed and I was so shocked to hear that it was. I had a long talk with someone in the ticket office about the closure. No one seemed to know who had bought it or what would happen. Am still furious about what people with money can do!!!! Jobs lost but hey ho, to them they are expendable. Hope all is well for the loyal people who worked there and helped maintain that paradise.

Hi Lizzie, along time since you posted this message, but i used to work at Trevarno in the conservatory and they sold it to a russian family who for some reason decided to close it all off and put high fences around the grounds to stop people trespassing. Such a sad time, I spent 9 wonderful years working there and it was such a beautiful place to work. Such a shame, like you say, money can cause such trouble.

HELL no one can afford to buy a place like this BUT it would be great if they rented it for folks for end of life times..a couple or 3 months?

Nanskerris, where I lived with Cilla, is now like all England, not as it was, and changed via money people, while locals were without and not part of those with it. Unfair + changes are NOT reality based on local community. You invade, overtake & refuse natives right to live, & in case you don't connect, I relate to local wildlife. Nans had a robin, a chaffinch, a blackbird, 3 feral cats, a peacock, 2 foxes, 2 doves, 16 bats in the barns and 5 squirrels among the menagerie. The squirrels came in the cottage every morning. I hand fed the aforementioned. It is recorded on tape. You can see I am at Nanskerris. So before you do anything - think very - very carefully, as the true identity exists = not yours, and it is an ongoing. It always will be. And a PS. If you see badgers, they are seeking my smell. I hand fed 6 on video tape there. M.

My name is Mark. I lived with Cilla George, (one part of the Trevarno management) in Nanskerris for five years. You never captured the badgers and birds - but I did, I hand fed them... and filmed one whopping lot more. Regards to you. Mark.
