JIMIN has one of the most unique voices in the industry. It is extremely high pitched but also has a unique tone and texture to it. His live vocals and also more of BTS’s ballads give a better sense of his true voice. He is also one of the best dancers in the world. Named best Kpop dancer 5 years in a row. He is extremely versatile as a dancer. One professional dancer once said that lots of people are considered “versatile” but there are gimmicks. With Jimin there aren’t any gimmicks. He can do everything.

This is the studio version before he started his military duties he did a live verison for the Jimmy Fallon Show as live recording while dancing which then used after his enlistment. Pre- record live version is even better but that's what we always find their live performances are on another level to their studio versions. Jimin is on 7th of The Global Super Group BTS the most award in history of music with over 1,400 Awards, 5 Grammy nominations and 31 Guinness World Record . They smash the Beatles Record and Micheal Jackson Record. Jimin has the very unusual high voice that many mistake for a woman singing when they only hear not see him. This song is off his second solo album Muse which he made a the same time as his first solo album Face. But Muse and the live recordings of this and 2 other songs and the MV's were not released until after he started his 18months of military service. He's been doing this since 2013.

FYI - technically, K-pop refers to an integrated system including the music, lyrics, choreography, fashion, cinematography, etc. It is not a specific genre of music. Jim belongs to the world-class group BTS. They perform all sorts of genres of music including, Rap, Hip-Hop, Pop, Ballads, R&B. Latin Pop, etc. - they are not a pop-music boy band. Many people assume that and I can't tell you how many reactors get their socks blown off and say, "They are not who I assumed they are." You will never, likely, be disappointed listening and exploring BTS and each members' solo work. The are each phenomenal. Thanks for checking out Jimin. He is a gem in talent and character.

There are several recent Jimin live performances you should check out - live performance of Who on Jimmy Fallon (hard to react to without blurring/bars due to copyright), and also the recent live performance on Bangtan TV (the BTS channel) of two songs, including one with Sofia Carson. Is it K-pop? Yes, and no - BTS (the group Jimin is a member of) comes from the K-pop industry, but most fans would argue that they've transcended K-pop and go well beyond its normal parameters. All 7 of the BTS members are stars, each in their own right (with solo projects and albums), and they also shine most brightly as 7 - they're all (except one member, Jim, who just got out) currently serving their mandatory military service in Korea. Hope you keep exploring - BTS has been active since 2013, and the discography is enormous. And thanks for getting that autotune/reverb etc. can be used for effect and not because the artist can't sing. I personally think it's very effective in the MV, but the Fallon performance has much cleaner vocals. I've subscribed!

He also took part in many Hip Hop dance competitions and is a martial Arts Expert so watch out he uses his different dance style and his martial arts in his dancing which add's something very different when they are all together on stage. Jimin is an accomplished dancer to say the least. When I first heard his vocals it was so unique that to be honest... I was not sure that I liked it. But I have heard more of his vocals and I now LOVE his singing voice. He has been featured as a dancer on some of BTS's best videos. Your breakdown on this performance is spot on. Jimin is an incredible singer, you are right, his range is very high and his voice is very comfortable in the high notes and falsettos. Hi! Jimin is a member of BTS, which is the most popular group in the world! The seven members have to do military service, so they took 3 years off to rotate into military and 18 months for solos. In total they have 26 albums, songs are whole group, rap line, vocal line, and solos. You don't know what you're missing! RM is the leader and a fascinating poet, but when you get to watching them, the songs are in Korean and you'll need reference sources. They run really deep, subtitles are okay but full meaning is deeper.

He sings a live version (prerecorded because he had to enter the army for his national service) for the Jimmy Fallon show. Rebirth and Slow Dance from the album are excellent live performances, also.

Jimin did a live performance of this on Jimmy Fallon, and you might want to also check out the acoustic version - it's a different vocal and slower. No one sounds like Jimin! (Part of why BTS is such a unique group - the four vocalists are wildly different, as are the three rappers.)

Jimin is part of the biggest global group, BTS. There are 7 members, 3 rappers and 4 vocalists. They are known for their diversity of genres, poetic lyrics about societal issues, complex choreography and outstanding live performances. They started in 2013, so have a back catalogue of about 300 songs, which they also write and produce. They all have solo projects also. All are serving mandatory military service in South Korea until mid 2025 (apart from Jin who was just discharged), when they will be back together as a group. All 7 are extremely talented and bring completely different and unique elements to the group. The fandom is called Army, and is about 90 million strong across the world. Jimin is a vocalist and main dancer, as he has contemporary dance background also. I believe he is a counter tenor vocally, which is less usual. They sold out 17 stadiums in 10 countries in their last tour, including Wembley.

As he sung completely in English it's just pop not reason to trying to classify as 'Kpop' It simply pop sung by someone from South Korea. Kpop is not a genre it's an Industry btw.
Jimin is currently in the army, but he did a live recording last year which was aired on the Jimmy Fallon show a few months ago when the song came out. No Aututune on the live version. JIMIN has one of the most unique voices in the industry. It is extremely high pitched but also has a unique tone and texture to it. His live vocals and also more of BTS’s ballads give a better sense of his true voice.
He is also one of the best dancers in the world. Named best Kpop dancer 5 years in a row. He is extremely versatile as a dancer. One professional dancer once said that lots of people are considered “versatile” but there are gimmicks. With Jimin there aren’t any gimmicks. He can do everything.

This is the studio version before he started his military duties he did a live verison for the Jimmy Fallon Show as live recording while dancing which then used after his enlistment. Pre- record live version is even better but that's what we always find their live performances are on another level to their studio versions. Jimin is on 7th of The Global Super Group BTS the most award in history of music with over 1,400 Awards, 5 Grammy nominations and 31 Guinness World Record . They smash the Beatles Record and Micheal Jackson Record. Jimin has the very unusual high voice that many mistake for a woman singing when they only hear not see him. This song is off his second solo album Muse which he made a the same time as his first solo album Face. But Muse and the live recordings of this and 2 other songs and the MV's were not released until after he started his 18months of military service. He's been doing this since 2013.

FYI - technically, K-pop refers to an integrated system including the music, lyrics, choreography, fashion, cinematography, etc. It is not a specific genre of music. Jim belongs to the world-class group BTS. They perform all sorts of genres of music including, Rap, Hip-Hop, Pop, Ballads, R&B. Latin Pop, etc. - they are not a pop-music boy band. Many people assume that and I can't tell you how many reactors get their socks blown off and say, "They are not who I assumed they are." There are several recent Jimin live performances you should check out - live performance of Who on Jimmy Fallon (hard to react to without blurring/bars due to copyright), and also the recent live performance on Bangtan TV (the BTS channel) of two songs, including one with Sofia Carson.
Is it K-pop? Yes, and no - BTS (the group Jimin is a member of) comes from the K-pop industry, but most fans would argue that they've transcended K-pop and go well beyond its normal parameters. All 7 of the BTS members are stars, each in their own right (with solo projects and albums), and they also shine most brightly as 7 - they're all (except one member, Jim, who just got out) currently serving their mandatory military service in Korea.
Hope you keep exploring - BTS has been active since 2013, and the discography is enormous.
And thanks for getting that autotune/reverb etc. can be used for effect and not because the artist can't sing. I personally think it's very effective in the MV, but the Fallon performance has much cleaner vocals.

He also took part in many Hip Hop dance competitions and is a martial Arts Expert so watch out he uses his different dance style and his martial arts in his dancing which add's something very different when they are all together on stage. BTS they sell out the biggest Stadiums on the planet for multiple nights in under an hour of tickets going on sale.

Jimin is an accomplished dancer to say the least. When I first heard his vocals it was so unique that to be honest... I was not sure that I liked it. Hi! Jimin is a member of BTS, which is the most popular group in the world! The seven members have to do military service, so they took 3 years off to rotate into military and 18 months for solos. In total they have 26 albums, songs are whole group, rap line, vocal line, and solos. You don't know what you're missing! RM is the leader and a fascinating poet, but when you get to watching them, the songs are in Korean and you'll need reference sources. He sings a live version (prerecorded because he had to enter the army for his national service) for the Jimmy Fallon show. Rebirth and Slow Dance from the album are excellent live performances, also.

There are 2 recently released live performances, which was recorded 1 year ago before Jimin went to serve his military service.
One is < Jimin’s ‘Who’ on Jimmy Fallen show -***this one, be careful with copyright! > & the other is < Jimin’s live performances of Rebirth’ & ‘’Slow dance’ feat. Sophia Carson> which are songs from his newly released 2nd album.
Also Jimin is the member( lead vocalist & main dancer) of ‘BTS’ the biggest & most popular Kpop group as well as the biggest & most popular global boy band.
BTS has 7 members & right now 6 of them are serving their military service & oldest member, ‘Jin’ was discharged last July & currently working on his solo album.
Next year on June, all BTS members will be discharged & they will rock the world again with their wonderful music & fantastic performances! 👍👍👍💜💕

In the live performance, he sings so well, even dancing the same choreography. It's not easy to sing and dance, especially in a foreign language (he studies English, but isn't fluent).

Jimin did a live performance of this on Jimmy Fallon, and you might want to also check out the acoustic version - it's a different vocal and slower. No one sounds like Jimin! (Part of why BTS is such a unique group - the four vocalists are wildly different, as are the three rappers.)

Jimin is part of the biggest global group, BTS. There are 7 members, 3 rappers and 4 vocalists. They are known for their diversity of genres, poetic lyrics about societal issues, complex choreography and outstanding live performances. They started in 2013, so have a back catalogue of about 300 songs, which they also write and produce. They all have solo projects also. All are serving mandatory military service in South Korea until mid 2025 (apart from Jin who was just discharged), when they will be back together as a group. All 7 are extremely talented and bring completely different and unique elements to the group. The fandom is called Army, and is about 90 million strong across the world.
Jimin is a vocalist and main dancer, as he has contemporary dance background also. I believe he is a counter tenor vocally, which is less usual.
They sold out 17 stadiums in 10 countries in their last tour, including Wembley.
"Such a vibe" is what every music lover says when they encounter BTS' or the members' solo performances.

As he sung completely in English it's just pop not reason to trying to classify as 'Kpop' It simply pop sung by someone from South Korea. Kpop is not a genre it's an Industry btw.

Jimin is currently in the army, but he did a live recording last year which was aired on the Jimmy Fallon show a few months ago when the song came out. No Aututune on the live version.

His bandmate and leader of BTS, RM, is an incredible wordsmith. He wanted to be a poet but at 11yo got into writing rap lyrics (in his school notebooks), then became an underground rapper. Jimin has only two solo albums since he is a member of bts, and those two already contain amazing much loved songs.
I think jimin is one of the most versatile members among bts in terms not only of his true multiple talent both in singing and dancing but also of adapting his performance to the emotion and vibe of each song. The beauty and the expressiveness from head to toe and the way he adapts his voice(and sometimes even pronunciations) are what got me.
Versatility wise, I think you could start with Set Me Free pt2, Like Crazy(1st album, mv, live, dance practice, and behinds), Be Mine, Smeraldo Garden Marching Band(2nd album, only SGMB has track video).
Lie, Serendipity, and Filter are also extremely famous jimin songs, still totally different from one another or from any of the ones above(no mv, only lyrics and live).
