I really like this change of pace to different courses and different vehicles, shakes things up a bit. Even if some of the dynamics such as power vs. control remain the same. xD
To everyone commenting on Ozzy, cut him/her a break. Not every build works, not everyone is a great driver. Part of being a community is supporting other players. There are drivers of varying skills in every lobby. Go for it, Ozzy.
I'm a bit sad to see people hating on some of the racers... They built a risky vehicle and it didn't work out. "Why you heff to be mad?" Several of the regulars build zany cars all the time. Hell, a "Ninetales" is now a term for a crazy power build. And you all like Ninetales, right? Forza has very odd views on what should and shouldn't work. A Willys Jeep set up like a dune buggy SHOULD be quick, but Forza sayeth nay, it must flippeth over most verily. A Ram with the better part of 1000 horsepower should be nigh uncontrollable, but it has Magic Doom Tires... And thus probably wouldn't flip over if you hit it with a Freightliner. Just sayin', give these guys a break... They kinda have to pull a working vehicle that fits an arbitrary class out of their ear. Not everyone is an accomplished racer who does this ALL THE TIME, like FailRace, Gliscor, Longbow, etc., so show a bit of kindness, yeah? Contrary to what the Internet has told you, being kind will NOT kill you.

When you sign up for these in the forums, alex specifically says "use a car you can control", in other words, ninetales can make a car with tonnes of power, because he does it a lot and can control it. Also ozzyrecon has been in a few of these vstc's, and has been consistently slow, either because of the car or the driver
squid's don't have ankles I’m pretty sure at least 50%-70% of FH4 players don’t know how to build cars “exploiting” or taking advantage of the game physics. It’s vs. the COMMUNITY, not vs. expert car builders and racers. The people in the “community” are not all skilled. They’re trying to have some fun, to see how they stack up against the people they love and watch. How would it feel if you, and not you specifically, but anyone here, loved watching Alex and these races, decided to race in one of these, came last every race, and the people you once commented and viewed with are now laughing at you, belittling you because you came last?
@@N4SCARfaN i completely get your point, however, if you enter one of these, you are aware of who you are competing with, so a little common sense would tell that, unless you think you are good enough, you should try and get better or just don't bother entering. If it's someone's first time in a vstc, then fine, but if you've been in a couple and been dreadful in them, consistently placing last, then mabye you should get the idea. Yes, it is a versus the community and much of the community doesn't possess a natural ability to build and race but my point is that, you should also know your skill level and try to get better before entering, if that is required, which, in ozzyrecon's case, it is
In vsTC the same group races two different cars and Alex then picks the better one to be uploaded. If there for some reason isn't vsTC filming some week or races that week aren't good enough, he uploads an old one. Apparently this group had two good races, so they got both picked.

Alex should be applauded for running a series that is open to ALL. It's first and foremost supposed to be a fun event, and Ozzy is one of the lucky few to participate. You think Alex and the crew are going to vet each and every community driver that applies?
I spy an Anger Rover! Built one of those myself a while back, it's a complete handful, bringing it down to A class might tame it :D Do you pick A class for these events as it allows a wider range of vehicles or is it a general favourite in the game? Some of my cars are bloody twitchy at the top of A class.
Suggestion for a real "Cross Country Adventure": Race the Map regardless of tracks and streets across. You can choose if you go offroad and straight or street vehicle and follow roads.
My Ranger was quite a late choice, so wasn't fully tuned to the top of A class. As a result it was fairly underpowered I think, so the best I could do was fight for 7th or 8th. Still fun though! Had some bad luck in race one though - when PortalKat disconnected, they were right in front of me and veered across my nose. I thought I'd turned them so slowed to redress and by the time I realised, I'd lost two or three places

An idea for a team adventure: Via the make your own track mode you put checkpoints a good distance apart and you basically have to build a car to get from one checkpoint to the other as fast as possible.
You realise how much of a bad idea off road with full damage is It's shit Watch the FH4 survive the hunt videos and you see off road takes a beating on the car
I really wish I could play this game, but it constantly crashes even though my pc is very capable. Its always been too unstable to play for more than about 15 minutes, then it lags a d crashes
Oh yes, off road racing! Don't suppose there's a Trophy Truck in the Fh4 roster? One thing I'd love to race but don't know of a modern game using them are Baja or Trophy Trucks (outside of the flim flam in GTA V).

your steering is too snappy so you end up putting all the load into the tyres all of a sudden, also your suspension spring decompression is too high, so you grip in the corner, the spring comes back and your car slides on 4 wheels
these tracks, but no 4wd, no rally tyres/suspension and every car must be a family hatchback... basically the least off roady cars with no off road mods allowed...
It's possible they were done in a hurry or they can't actually make it to top of a-class or they go over it. For example turbo or cam upgrades can add that much PI.
Too many unconsistent randoms that either don't know how to drive or don't know how to create a proper car,and if you get 2-3 of them in the same team,well you're fucked. I think there should be more regulars like dangerman and ninetails,basically the classic crew.
Ozzy gets chosen because they are willing to put their name in and race cleanly. You haven’t raced yet, maybe their should be a race between you and Ozzy 1v1?
It is not satisfying seeing one car consistently finishing last every single race. I don't care if it is on the red team or the blue team. Just having bad builds (bad drivers? both?) is unsatisfying and not enjoyable. It makes the outcome of the race known from the start and the best I can root for is for your personal performance in battles for position. But it doesn't matter if you get the pass done for first place or what-have-you because there is someone giving up 600 points to the blue team anyway...
Yeah, it made me cringe watching that Jeep being driven (or built) so horrifically bad. I understand that it must be hard having good drivers for every race, and once in a while someones gonna have a bad car, but sometimes it's so appalling that it becomes frustrating. And it's more frustrating seen Alex (or anyone) driving his wheels off and losing team races because another competitor can't get their shit together.
I think he should ban bad players. I think he races against fans sometimes, but A LOT of times these fans are just bad at building, driving, or both. There was another video with a fan who was ramming and blocking him off constantly. Really shouldn't use fans for the TH-cam videos

@@FraZzJ don't think banning people is the answer here, unless someone's just ramming other competitors. Sometimes don't even think is all driver's fault as well, maybe just a bad build. It's frustrating to watch at times, but if Alex starts a ban spree there's not gonna be enough to fill a lobby consistently. It is what it is, I can't think of a solution at the moment. At least we can still watch some good 1v1 racing, even if it's not the best results for the team.

That's like saying I can't criticize a sports team or player for their bad performances or expressing how bad a TV show or movie is simply because I'm not as skilled/talented as I'd like them to be. I don't care if Ozzy simply can't help themselves. I do care if Alex can do something to prevent this and chooses not to. I'd like him to know that I as a viewer don't enjoy this - and clearly I'm not alone. Maybe he will think of a way to account for this. Maybe he won't. But at least I've provided feedback.

They pick A class because it gives the best balance of close racing and quick cars, along with that there's more options that fit A class
