How are you able to record 4K on Mac With elgato HD60 plus ? I’ve had elgato for a while now and I’ve still never figured out how to make the gameplay quality look better. In Order for the ps5 screen to connect elgato it has to be in 1080p. The 1080p looks fine on console but for some reason the mirrored screen on obs looks terrible quality when trying to record. How are you able to record with such good quality in 4K with Mac ?

Hey. Great question. So this video is 4k, but I used the PS5 and share factory to make it and export it in 4k NOT the Elgato (hadn't bought it yet).
I use the Elgato to live stream and the video quality is only 1080 (my latest livestream videos).
But if you have the ps5 you can record gameplay and export it as 4k in share factory, there is an option in settings.
