It was an excellent show I thought especially seeing the other types of modelling like the model aircraft, RC boats and even the RC trucks and diggers. I hear they are looking at getting another hall to possibly include other modelling hobbies or have more demonstration area's. I know at the Midlands Model engineering show they have had a indoor RC boating pool and a RC tank area. Also RC cars and Scalextric could also be included in the extension to the show.
From the looks of it it looked to be a decent show overall, obviously the big centrepiece elf this show was Peter Watermans layout and it’s fantastic to see trains running on that, saw quite a few comments from people saying that there wasn’t anything running on it, hope you had a great time there Matt.
There probably plenty to see tho not in one day. From trains to planes trucks boats etc and not forgetting the main example 37108 on display overall a good day out for all the family to enjoy 🎉.
Nice, but let's see nothing but pristine steam engines and coaches flying along next time. Diesels are for non-believers, Electricity is wrong, Steam has got the power that will pull us along.
