I loved Luz looking at Belos with that look of contempt. He deserved nothing more than that. Also, Amity’s jaw is going to hit the floor if Luz cosplay’s in her Titan form.
I noticed the following during the credits: -Gus and Vee are probably working together because behind Gus we see an banner 'demon realm-human realm exchange program' with the logo in the middle... Vee is wearing a shirt with the same logo. -Luz, Amity, Willow, Gus, Hunter (and properly Vee and more) have Flapjack tattoos on their arms -on Lilith plans for the museum built in the library you can see that hooty is supposed to be the museums curator I noticed more but I'm too lazy to write the rest tbh
Two more things the Internet noticed is that Raine and Eda swapped earrings, and that Luz is wearing Amity's necklace. There's A LOT of cute little details in that epilogue.

The way this masterpiece ended and where it left it's characters is just perfect, I'm really going to miss this series, and this story driven era of Disney Channel, but I'm so glad that it happened, and that I got to experience it and see you experience it. I can't thank Dana Terrace and her entire team enough. And I'm glad Dana can move on from Disney and live her life now.
Part of me really hopes one day Disney will make amends and give us a continuation of Luz at magic college rediscovering magic. But part me also doesnt want to risk ruining such a great show. Despite being cut short the ending is very satisfying and heartfelt. One of the best shows on television in years.
That was an Amazing ending. I cried, laughed, and cheered, Dana did everything she could to bring this story to us, and despite the obstacles, she managed to make it really great! Thank you Dana for giving us this wonderful show. Bless her soul and her crew! 10/10 would watch it again

I love that Hunter decided to become a palisman sculptor. He started his arc by giving a palisman to Belos so he could destroy it, and trying to capture more for him. Now he's making new palismans and gives them to people so they can befriend them.

Some symbolism: When Philip attaches himself to the Titan's heart, it's in a crucifix pose. He views himself as equal in goodness to Christ Himself. When Philip goes Kaiju-mode and begins to destroy the Boiling Isles, he proclaims: "I'll end this perdition MYSELF!" In Christianity, a perdition is a passage from mortal life to eternal suffering. Philip views the Demon Realm as literally Hell and intends on destroying it and its witchy inhabitants... Meanwhile, Luz sacrifices herself to save the Collector from Philip (after Philip rejects the Collector's forgiveness and attempts to shoot him in the back) and is given a second chance at life by the Titan Himself. Even briefly becomes one with the Titan, a worldly incarnation of His will. And if you consider Luz to be something akin to a sister for King, the Titan is also something of a Father to her (and likely all demons and witches, as they live and thrive through His flesh (the Isles) and blood (the portal)). So Luz is the (adopted) daughter of a Titan and Titan incarnate at once. As Belos, Philip always claimed he could communicate with the Titan but was a fake identity and a false prophet all along. While Luz is the Titan's one true chosen champion and hero. Philip had one last chance at redemption to finally admit he was wrong after all, but blew it by immediately lying through his teeth about being "cursed". He payed the price for it, being finished off by some of the closest people to family he had in the Demon Realm (it's somewhat implied/theorized that the Clawthornes are descended from Evelyn, which makes Philip an ancestral uncle to Eda). Edit: another thing that others have pointed out: Luz, Belos, and Collector all actually have similar backstories: Luz was always a weird kid. Other kids disliked her, adults disliked her, etc. Luz always had a hard time fitting in. And when her father died she lost one of the two people who really understood her. Collector's relationship with his siblings seems rather poor. The Archivists effectively told Collector to "go play with the neighbor kids", like they were trying to get rid of him. Collector made friends with the Titans, but the Archivists came back and exterminated them. Collector lost the only beings that actually liked him for who he was. "Hollow Mind" showed us Philip's mindscape. It seems that Philip was an odd child, shy and always hiding behind that strange mask. The only person who seemed to understand Philip was his brother Caleb. And according to Masha's story, both brothers desperately wanted to fit in, and so joined the witch-hunts. But then Caleb met Evelyn, and Philip was all alone. Desperate to "rescue" his brother, Philip wound up killing poor Caleb. Philp had nothing left after that except a thirst for vengeance coupled with his own warped delusions. Like I already mentioned, Philip had one last chance at redemption after he was defeated. And he blew it terrifically. Perhaps instead of his final words being more lies and excuses, attempting to guilt trip Luz into saving him simply because they're both human, he should've finally admitted he was little more than a scared and lonely child no different than Luz or Collector. If he'd just admitted this, maybe he could've found redemption. Alas, he refused to even consider that he was in the wrong up until his final moments as a rotting skull stewing in a puddle of boiling green slime...
after all he's done you think Belos admitting he was wrong would've redeemed him? He attempted to kill millions of people I think at that point nothing could redeem him.

I find it great that in a show all about acceptance, community, and connection the villain is a witch hunter, the prime example of intolerance. And this may be unintentional, but intolerance is defeated by an immigrant (first generation to the isles, second generation to the states) an amputee with a pre-existing condition, her non-binary partner, and their adopted son I just find that comfortingly appropriate
Literally this episode tops all the previous ones together, I bet that no one was able to watch it without crying. I never cried so much for a series finales (not even The Clone Wars finale made me cry so much) Luz’s death scene made me cry the most, especially when The Collector realizes that death is not something you can fix. Dana and the crew really put their maximum effort in this one because we couldn’t have asked for a better ending than this
This show will never be forgotten. Characters like Luz and everyone in the Boiling Isles will live rent-free in peoples hearts for a lifetime, or at least in mine.
Do you remember in the series where the King and the Luz were writing a book, they completely predicted their future! romance, Flapjack's death, luzura, luzura dies!
One of my first thoughts after the episode was "wow there was basically no Hooty at all, I bet Mikey's not gonna be happy about that." At first I thought maybe they had to save money and couldn't afford to bring every cast member in to record, but then I remembered that Hooty is voiced by Alex Hirsch, who definitely would've been in the booth to play King. Season 3 has so little Hooty, truly the greatest casualty of the shortening of the season. I guess the writers decided it would be unrealistic if both of the most powerful characters, Hooty and Raine, were fighting Belos, because then they would've obviously won too easily.

This was a great ending, I was very worried about how they could wrap up everything but they did a good work at it. Up there with the ending of Gravity Falls.
Man, this must be the tenth time I've cried watching this episode, it's too much emotions for a single heart 😭😭 Man, the characters, the story, the world, everything about this show is perfect for me and it's such a shame it ended so much quicker than it was supposed to but despite that,the team did a truly masterful job doing so much so well in so little time and having such an epic ending The Owl House has and always will have a very special place just for it in my heart. ❤️❤️🦉

Literally one of the best endings to a show ever. The owl house means so much to me and to see it end is sad, but it’s a show like Amphibia that I’ll never forget. It’s too bad that Disney shorted season 3, but the episodes were amazing. Dana and her crew did a awesome job with what they were given.
I am also upset that Hooty did not get a line, but we now find out he's freakin' powerful because he's the titan's eye-vein or something. My headcanon is now that King has had his father watching over him via Hooty the entire time.
Despite all the time constraints, the finale still managed to be epic, and everybody that deserved it got a happy ending. We only got like, four minutes of Titan Luz, but what an epic four minutes they were. And the Collector... gosh, I really wanted more of him! Just a child with too much power that only wanted friends and not people that used and trick him. And then really trying to take Luz's lesson by heart. Too bad he chose the wrong person for that 😢
Ugh yeah I love the conclusion they arrived at, but you are always going to have that thought in the back of your head all the time we didn’t get to have with these characters at this stage of their arcs. It’s just those little moments I’m mad we were robbed of. But overall, I’m impressed with what they done with such little time to accomplish it. I’m sure that was not easy

But despite everything, Dana and her crew still managed to make an epic, solid finale, far better than many other series that have both enough time and seasons to come up with a proper conclusion and don't, and I'm not just talking animation, so a standing ovation for them 👏
I still can't belive its over.Dana and her team delivered the best ending they could with the time they got.I really hope we will get some additonal content like a book or graphic novel but with Dana leaving Disney it seems unlikely.
I will point out that I'm pretty sure with the show finished her contract with Disney would obviously be up. That does not preclude her from getting _another_ contract in the future, be it for spinoffs,another show,etc.
The early episodes do something very important: worldbuilding. They introduce you to this new world and it's workings. They introduce the characters, and give them depth. On top of that they build relations between characters. And certain parts of those episodes might not seem as progressing the story, but they do help make parts of the story more impactful.
this episode was such a satisfying finale in so many ways and did so much well. i was just a little sad to think about all the extra things we could've gotten if we only had more time. we can only hope we get more owl house content in some form. two of my personal hangups are that we barely got v screentime and that we never really got to delve into hunter's trauma and see him work through that. i'll just have to assume that offscreen he's seeing a therapist lol. we also didn't get much of him being a part of the noceda family in the finale so i also am just going to assume he bounces around his adoptive parents/families (darius, the clawthornes, and camila) + the fact that they made the final 3 episodes spell out thanks for watching makes me want to scream and sob. so much love went into this show. im really going to miss it. there's something about. when people get to make their passion project and share that with the world and they're just so thankful to have gotten the chance and for the support they've received even if they get screwed over. it's very heartwarming to see and makes me really emotional. also can we all just applaud the crew for not going "friendship and forgiveness is always the answer, even for people who are the scum of the earth" they said F THAT stomp this man's corpse. love everything said about/the actions taken towards belos this episode. he really is one of the best villains i've seen in a long time, not even just in cartoons.
also after having time to process. im pretty disappointed hunter wasn't able to get in on the belos stomping. if anyone deserved to be there it was him. but i understand why they weren't able to do it like that, and time restraints etc etc. i can headcanon that luz and eda saved a scrap of belos to bring back so hunter could stomp on it lol + something i connected on my first watch that idk if other people mentioned but luz's titan form feels a little bit like a nod to the bodyswap episode in s1 in which king was in luz's body so she had his eyes and fang.
the epilogue totally ruled though. perfect balance of giving us a satisfying conclusion and showing some of whats going on in the future, but leaving it open enough to where fan content will thrive for a long time after the finale.

I found your channel through your Owl House reactions, so its kind of surreal to see you react to the finale. As always, your commentary is excellent this episode.
You know, when I first went to watch this series finale, I was expecting nothing but heartbreak and misery. What I got in the end was a glorious, amazing, and joyful end to such a brilliant show. I think what makes this finale so good is that after every piece of trauma, pain, self-hate, and god knows what else that every character endured, they FINALLY got their triumphant win over an irremediably, horrible, delusional, evil monster, who lost his humanity the second he saw someone was "taking" his brother. And to see all characters get their happily ever after is so satisfying and pure, it filled my heart and soul with great emotions. I'm gonna miss this brilliant show and its characters, storytelling, and gorgeous animation !❤This is a true gem in the medium of animation that should be watched by everyone! I love all three shows that you mentioned. I agree that amphibia is the most enjoyable, the jokes and characters are all so lovable. I personally think the owl house has the best writing of the three and is the most serious, I truly think if it wasn’t cut shorter, we would have gotten more time with the characters and it would truly rise above the rest, but I still love what we got!
23:20 King and Luz wehing together touches my heart. Because Luz has King's father's last bit of magic, last bit of life. So in a way, King got to "WEH" with his father.

I saw a theory on instagram that since it seemingly took almost all of Amity's effort to draw a glyph in her puppet form, there might have been something very similar with Camila Just imagining the concept of Camila trapped within her puppet, knowing what had happened, completely destroyed by the loss of her daughter. It's enough to make anyone cry
A little favorite detail of mine: when Luz "dies" and Collector can't "fix" her, his first response is "The Archiveists aren't here, they couldn't have taken her!". It's just one line, but it gives a really great insight in the trauma Collector received from the Archiveists taking away the Titans. He doesn't know death, but he knows of people disapearing, knows his siblings have a hand in that, and he is ABSOLUTELY Mortified of it happening again! If we ever get a sequel, eather in show, book or comic form, I wouldn't be suprised if the Archiveists turn up again to be the main antagonists.

An epic and excellent conclusion, but now I want at least two sin-off series; 1) the spinoff with Eda and Lily that Luz alluded to and 2) Luz and the gang in college. Even so, this was a great and satisfying conclusion!

I’ve been on the channel since the last few episodes of your Gravity Falls reactions, I stuck around after that for Amphibia and The Owl House. It’s really sad seeing them end, I really enjoyed Amphibia, but personally The Owl House meant so much to me and it’s so sad to see it go. They both had such amazing final episodes and I’m really gonna miss both series, and the music during this episode was amazing. That being said, I’m looking forward to see what you react to next, I’ll definitely be sticking around!

Hooty was in the Titan's eye, I think he might be the titan equivalent of a tapeworm lol. Explains why he's infinitely long, he's been feeding off that titan magic. This ep got me super emotional, especially when the titan was telling Luz that he's been watching his son this entire time, it's so sweet and sad at the same time.
belos is just SO well written as well. i will forever be bitter that his, caleb, and evelyn’s backstory had to be cut down. we could’ve gotten so much more out of it. fuck disney!
LITTERALLY PERFECT FINALE!!!!!! the owl house is my second favorite piece of media after fate stay night (which means a lot, I'm a HUGE fate stay night fan), it's such a relatable plot and I loved every second of it. this finale just filled me with everything, every emotion, I loved all the many subdle callbacks to previous episodes, and they somehow managed to enter every plothole left through such a short time: the origin of glyphs was explained, a full picture of belos's personality and intentions was drawn, and maybe most importantly they actually brought the titan heart back!! I was so sure they forgot about it. now in terms of ranking it's really difficult for me to decide, since amphibia's ending tugged on my heartstrings a lot more, and it had the scene with "domino", but to be honest I had a bunch of problems with it, mostly at the begining. and that's pretty much all I have to say. byeeeeeeee update: she ra surpassed owl house (not in terms of finale), I'm sorry but it's just too good (glory be to prime)
OMGGG FINALLY SOMEONE WHO GET IT! Some people just don't get how i enjoy amphibia more, but i just have more of an emotional connection to the characters, humor and story. I love both shows sm
I confess, like Star Wars, I never watched the Owl House all the way through, but, again like Star Wars, this show was memed and referenced and fanfic"ed", I know who some characters are. That said like you, I resonated with Amphibia more. It was simply funnier and more chaotic, whereas The Owl House was more cute. As far as characters go, I couldn't articulate why I liked Amphibia more, until I started reading this fanfic that swapped girls with worlds. (Anne in the Boiling Isles, Luz in Amphibia) And it hits me: it's Anne. Anne's rambunctiousness, disobedience, and energy meshed with the demon characters, but Luz' introversion, honesty, forgiveness numbs the chaotic energy of the frogs.
By watching it again I realized something about the name Noceda, if you separate it: No Ceda, that in Spanish it's Don't Give In, her name kinda means 'Light doesn't give in' or 'Light, don't give in' That's beautiful. ❤
The Owl House changed my life. I will never get over it ending, and it will always hold a beyond special place in my heart. It’s just so unique, and amazing, and wonderful. It is such an emotionally complex series with a satisfying ending despite the fact that it had to be rushed. Do you know how even more FANTASTIC Season 3 would have been if ww’d gotten the full length of it? Every single one of the characters are so dynamic, and loved in, and I love every single one of them (excluding the ones we’re SUPPOSED to hate, obvs. Like Belos, Kiki, Odalia etc). I am attached to every single one of them, and when I think about anyone I STILL can’t help but wish there was more of them. The Owl Family, The Hexide Crew, Raine, Darius, Steve, Eberwolf, Edric, Emira, Flapjack, King’s Dadmom, Vee, Camila, just- EVERYONE! I love them all so much and I will carry each of them with me to the end of time. The Owl House is such a magical show that is able to connect w/ it’s watchers and actually make us FEEL. It’s not afraid to tackled harsh topics, and to deliver accurately blunt, to the point depictions of our world. Thank you, Mike (and all reactors and viewers who enjoy it as much as you) for giving it the appreciation it deserve! And, thank you, Dana Terrace and crew of the Owl House, for giving the world such a treasure. We will not forget about it, not ever. Byyyyyeeeeeee!! :)
There are so many layers of irony to Belos's death. A man infamous for his manipulation completley flubbs it in the end. Even with his genuine belife that he helped humanity he was murderd by a human. After surviving for about 400 years in the boiling isles he died because of the rain probably the most natural and mundane thing that happend there. He was stomped on by Raine who he "enterd", Eda who could be his great grand nice with a 400 year gap and king whos fathers corpes he also "enterd". But at least he got his dripp back. Also unironicaly a more progressive man than anyone in our time but oh well.
This is truly the end of an era. The big 3 (Gravity Falls, Amphibia, and the Owl House) will hold a special place in my heart. Until we meet again big 3. BYEEEE

For me, it's how the happiest we see her for a long time is when Luz finally asks her out.
I love that Hunter decided to become a palisman sculptor. He started his arc by giving a palisman to Belos so he could destroy it, and trying to capture more for him. Now he's making new palismans and gives them to people so they can befriend them.

Some symbolism:
When Philip attaches himself to the Titan's heart, it's in a crucifix pose. He views himself as equal in goodness to Christ Himself.
When Philip goes Kaiju-mode and begins to destroy the Boiling Isles, he proclaims:
"I'll end this perdition MYSELF!"
In Christianity, a perdition is a passage from mortal life to eternal suffering. Philip views the Demon Realm as literally Hell and intends on destroying it and its witchy inhabitants...
Meanwhile, Luz sacrifices herself to save the Collector from Philip (after Philip rejects the Collector's forgiveness and attempts to shoot him in the back) and is given a second chance at life by the Titan Himself. Even briefly becomes one with the Titan, a worldly incarnation of His will. And if you consider Luz to be something akin to a sister for King, the Titan is also something of a Father to her (and likely all demons and witches, as they live and thrive through His flesh (the Isles) and blood (the portal)). So Luz is the (adopted) daughter of a Titan and Titan incarnate at once.
As Belos, Philip always claimed he could communicate with the Titan but was a fake identity and a false prophet all along. While Luz is the Titan's one true chosen champion and hero. Philip had one last chance at redemption to finally admit he was wrong after all, but blew it by immediately lying through his teeth about being "cursed". He payed the price for it, being finished off by some of the closest people to family he had in the Demon Realm (it's somewhat implied/theorized that the Clawthornes are descended from Evelyn, which makes Philip an ancestral uncle to Eda).
Edit: another thing that others have pointed out: Luz, Belos, and Collector all actually have similar backstories:
Luz was always a weird kid. Other kids disliked her, adults disliked her, etc. Luz always had a hard time fitting in. And when her father died she lost one of the two people who really understood her.
Collector's relationship with his siblings seems rather poor. The Archivists effectively told Collector to "go play with the neighbor kids", like they were trying to get rid of him. Collector made friends with the Titans, but the Archivists came back and exterminated them. Collector lost the only beings that actually liked him for who he was.
"Hollow Mind" showed us Philip's mindscape. It seems that Philip was an odd child, shy and always hiding behind that strange mask. The only person who seemed to understand Philip was his brother Caleb. And according to Masha's story, both brothers desperately wanted to fit in, and so joined the witch-hunts. But then Caleb met Evelyn, and Philip was all alone. Desperate to "rescue" his brother, Philip wound up killing poor Caleb. Philp had nothing left after that except a thirst for vengeance coupled with his own warped delusions.
Like I already mentioned, Philip had one last chance at redemption after he was defeated. And he blew it terrifically. Perhaps instead of his final words being more lies and excuses, attempting to guilt trip Luz into saving him simply because they're both human, he should've finally admitted he was little more than a scared and lonely child no different than Luz or Collector. If he'd just admitted this, maybe he could've found redemption. Alas, he refused to even consider that he was in the wrong up until his final moments as a rotting skull stewing in a puddle of boiling green slime...
after all he's done you think Belos admitting he was wrong would've redeemed him? He attempted to kill millions of people I think at that point nothing could redeem him.
Philip is just the Boiling Isles' Anti-Christ. As for who the Jesus is to the Titan's God, it's tied between Luz and King I guess.

How much time did you spend on writing this?
I find it great that in a show all about acceptance, community, and connection the villain is a witch hunter, the prime example of intolerance.
And this may be unintentional, but intolerance is defeated by an immigrant (first generation to the isles, second generation to the states) an amputee with a pre-existing condition, her non-binary partner, and their adopted son
I just find that comfortingly appropriate
Literally this episode tops all the previous ones together, I bet that no one was able to watch it without crying. I never cried so much for a series finales (not even The Clone Wars finale made me cry so much) Luz’s death scene made me cry the most, especially when The Collector realizes that death is not something you can fix. Dana and the crew really put their maximum effort in this one because we couldn’t have asked for a better ending than this
I was dry eyes for this episode, but I was heavily crying for Amphibia's finale.
This show will never be forgotten. Characters like Luz and everyone in the Boiling Isles will live rent-free in peoples hearts for a lifetime, or at least in mine.

This show managed to pull off such an amazing finale despite its unfortunate circumstances. Gonna miss it so much.
One of my first thoughts after the episode was "wow there was basically no Hooty at all, I bet Mikey's not gonna be happy about that." At first I thought maybe they had to save money and couldn't afford to bring every cast member in to record, but then I remembered that Hooty is voiced by Alex Hirsch, who definitely would've been in the booth to play King. Season 3 has so little Hooty, truly the greatest casualty of the shortening of the season.
I guess the writers decided it would be unrealistic if both of the most powerful characters, Hooty and Raine, were fighting Belos, because then they would've obviously won too easily.

This episode was so amazing, the animation was very smooth and accurate, also love the story, like amphibia. TOHanks Dana, for this awesome series, will always love it💕.
Literally one of the best endings to a show ever. The owl house means so much to me and to see it end is sad, but it’s a show like Amphibia that I’ll never forget. It’s too bad that Disney shorted season 3, but the episodes were amazing. Dana and her crew did a awesome job with what they were given.
I am also upset that Hooty did not get a line, but we now find out he's freakin' powerful because he's the titan's eye-vein or something. My headcanon is now that King has had his father watching over him via Hooty the entire time.

Despite all the time constraints, the finale still managed to be epic, and everybody that deserved it got a happy ending. We only got like, four minutes of Titan Luz, but what an epic four minutes they were. And the Collector... gosh, I really wanted more of him! Just a child with too much power that only wanted friends and not people that used and trick him. And then really trying to take Luz's lesson by heart. Too bad he chose the wrong person for that 😢
Ugh yeah I love the conclusion they arrived at, but you are always going to have that thought in the back of your head all the time we didn’t get to have with these characters at this stage of their arcs. It’s just those little moments I’m mad we were robbed of. But overall, I’m impressed with what they done with such little time to accomplish it. I’m sure that was not easy

But despite everything, Dana and her crew still managed to make an epic, solid finale, far better than many other series that have both enough time and seasons to come up with a proper conclusion and don't, and I'm not just talking animation, so a standing ovation for them 👏
I still can't belive its over.Dana and her team delivered the best ending they could with the time they got.I really hope we will get some additonal content like a book or graphic novel but with Dana leaving Disney it seems unlikely.
I will point out that I'm pretty sure with the show finished her contract with Disney would obviously be up. That does not preclude her from getting _another_ contract in the future, be it for spinoffs,another show,etc.

The early episodes do something very important: worldbuilding. They introduce you to this new world and it's workings. They introduce the characters, and give them depth. On top of that they build relations between characters. And certain parts of those episodes might not seem as progressing the story, but they do help make parts of the story more impactful.

this episode was such a satisfying finale in so many ways and did so much well. i was just a little sad to think about all the extra things we could've gotten if we only had more time. we can only hope we get more owl house content in some form.
two of my personal hangups are that we barely got v screentime and that we never really got to delve into hunter's trauma and see him work through that. i'll just have to assume that offscreen he's seeing a therapist lol. we also didn't get much of him being a part of the noceda family in the finale so i also am just going to assume he bounces around his adoptive parents/families (darius, the clawthornes, and camila)
+ the fact that they made the final 3 episodes spell out thanks for watching makes me want to scream and sob. so much love went into this show. im really going to miss it. there's something about. when people get to make their passion project and share that with the world and they're just so thankful to have gotten the chance and for the support they've received even if they get screwed over. it's very heartwarming to see and makes me really emotional.
also can we all just applaud the crew for not going "friendship and forgiveness is always the answer, even for people who are the scum of the earth" they said F THAT stomp this man's corpse. love everything said about/the actions taken towards belos this episode. he really is one of the best villains i've seen in a long time, not even just in cartoons.
also after having time to process. im pretty disappointed hunter wasn't able to get in on the belos stomping. if anyone deserved to be there it was him. but i understand why they weren't able to do it like that, and time restraints etc etc. i can headcanon that luz and eda saved a scrap of belos to bring back so hunter could stomp on it lol
+ something i connected on my first watch that idk if other people mentioned but luz's titan form feels a little bit like a nod to the bodyswap episode in s1 in which king was in luz's body so she had his eyes and fang.
the epilogue totally ruled though. perfect balance of giving us a satisfying conclusion and showing some of whats going on in the future, but leaving it open enough to where fan content will thrive for a long time after the finale.
I love that if you get the first words of each title in season 3 it spells “Thanks for Watching”

You know, when I first went to watch this series finale, I was expecting nothing but heartbreak and misery. What I got in the end was a glorious, amazing, and joyful end to such a brilliant show. I think what makes this finale so good is that after every piece of trauma, pain, self-hate, and god knows what else that every character endured, they FINALLY got their triumphant win over an irremediably, horrible, delusional, evil monster, who lost his humanity the second he saw someone was "taking" his brother. And to see all characters get their happily ever after is so satisfying and pure, it filled my heart and soul with great emotions. I'm gonna miss this brilliant show and its characters, storytelling, and gorgeous animation !❤This is a true gem in the medium of animation that should be watched by everyone!

I love all three shows that you mentioned. I agree that amphibia is the most enjoyable, the jokes and characters are all so lovable. I personally think the owl house has the best writing of the three and is the most serious, I truly think if it wasn’t cut shorter, we would have gotten more time with the characters and it would truly rise above the rest, but I still love what we got!

A little favorite detail of mine: when Luz "dies" and Collector can't "fix" her, his first response is "The Archiveists aren't here, they couldn't have taken her!". It's just one line, but it gives a really great insight in the trauma Collector received from the Archiveists taking away the Titans. He doesn't know death, but he knows of people disapearing, knows his siblings have a hand in that, and he is ABSOLUTELY Mortified of it happening again!
If we ever get a sequel, eather in show, book or comic form, I wouldn't be suprised if the Archiveists turn up again to be the main antagonists.

I’ve been on the channel since the last few episodes of your Gravity Falls reactions, I stuck around after that for Amphibia and The Owl House. It’s really sad seeing them end, I really enjoyed Amphibia, but personally The Owl House meant so much to me and it’s so sad to see it go. They both had such amazing final episodes and I’m really gonna miss both series, and the music during this episode was amazing. This ep got me super emotional, especially when the titan was telling Luz that he's been watching his son this entire time, it's so sweet and sad at the same time.
There is 99.99999% gonna be a spinoff, that end scene pretty much is the perfect setup for one.

LITTERALLY PERFECT FINALE!!!!!! the owl house is my second favorite piece of media after fate stay night (which means a lot, I'm a HUGE fate stay night fan), it's such a relatable plot and I loved every second of it. this finale just filled me with everything, every emotion, I loved all the many subdle callbacks to previous episodes, and they somehow managed to enter every plothole left through such a short time: the origin of glyphs was explained, a full picture of belos's personality and intentions was drawn, and maybe most importantly they actually brought the titan heart back!! I was so sure they forgot about it. now in terms of ranking it's really difficult for me to decide, since amphibia's ending tugged on my heartstrings a lot more, and it had the scene with "domino", but to be honest I had a bunch of problems with it, mostly at the begining. and that's pretty much all I have to say. byeeeeeeee

OMGGG FINALLY SOMEONE WHO GET IT! Some people just don't get how i enjoy amphibia more, but i just have more of an emotional connection to the characters, humor and story. I love both shows sm
I confess, like Star Wars, I never watched the Owl House all the way through, but, again like Star Wars, this show was memed and referenced and fanfic"ed", I know who some characters are.
That said like you, I resonated with Amphibia more. It was simply funnier and more chaotic, whereas The Owl House was more cute. As far as characters go, I couldn't articulate why I liked Amphibia more, until I started reading this fanfic that swapped girls with worlds. (Anne in the Boiling Isles, Luz in Amphibia) And it hits me: it's Anne. Anne's rambunctiousness, disobedience, and energy meshed with the demon characters, but Luz' introversion, honesty, forgiveness numbs the chaotic energy of the frogs.

The Owl House changed my life. I will never get over it ending, and it will always hold a beyond special place in my heart. It’s just so unique, and amazing, and wonderful. It is such an emotionally complex series with a satisfying ending despite the fact that it had to be rushed. Do you know how even more FANTASTIC Season 3 would have been if ww’d gotten the full length of it? Every single one of the characters are so dynamic, and loved in, and I love every single one of them (excluding the ones we’re SUPPOSED to hate, obvs. Like Belos, Kiki, Odalia etc). I am attached to every single one of them, and when I think about anyone I STILL can’t help but wish there was more of them. The Owl Family, The Hexide Crew, Raine, Darius, Steve, Eberwolf, Edric, Emira, Flapjack, King’s Dadmom, Vee, Camila, just- EVERYONE! I love them all so much and I will carry each of them with me to the end of time. The Owl House is such a magical show that is able to connect w/ it’s watchers and actually make us FEEL. It’s not afraid to tackled harsh topics, and to deliver accurately blunt, to the point depictions of our world. Thank you, Mike (and all reactors and viewers who enjoy it as much as you) for giving it the appreciation it deserve! There are so many layers of irony to Belos's death.
A man infamous for his manipulation completley flubbs it in the end.
Even with his genuine belife that he helped humanity he was murderd by a human.
After surviving for about 400 years in the boiling isles he died because of the rain probably the most natural and mundane thing that happend there.
He was stomped on by Raine who he "enterd", Eda who could be his great grand nice with a 400 year gap and king whos fathers corpes he also "enterd".
But at least he got his dripp back. Also unironicaly a more progressive man than anyone in our time but oh well.

This is truly the end of an era. The big 3 (Gravity Falls, Amphibia, and the Owl House) will hold a special place in my heart.
