@@Ferraiolo_1 Here’s a fact for ya… A Harley suspension is much more smoother. Better to service. Easier to swap out and a shit ton of aftermarket available. Harley uses traditional built quality. Not primitive. The way that single mono suspension is at the Indian is like watching an Enduro suspension on a cruiser. Or better yet a Sport bike suspension on a cruiser.
@@Ferraiolo_1 here’s another fact for ya… Harley engine design is divided into three cases. Each component has their own oil. The primary which is the clutch. Then the transmission which is a standalone like it was a shaft gear drive. There are manufactures that comes close to have 2 other oil type on an engine base motorcycle. It’s mostly the engine and the transmission. Like a Honda Goldwing with a shaft transmission that’s DCT. Indian poor built quality have 1 oil that lubricate all three in the same case. What that does is the oil in general gets dirty a lot sooner such as clutch residue and cylinder wall carbons. The Transmission gets lubricated poorly because it’s either using the dirty oil most of its life or using a lighter viscosity oil that its force to work with. From a mechanic standpoint that’s what I see.
Indian was Indian when they went out of business with their built quality and wasn’t making money. When Polaris bought them and revived them they are in business in another company name. People are confused and are not well educated with their history. That’s why people like you still buys their product. Much like Triumph motorcycles or even Royal Einfield motorcycles, Polaris should stop using Indian and man-up and call their next brand Polaris. Then it would be Polaris vs Harley. Not really a competition because Harley is unique with their built. A transmission goes bad on Harley, you don’t have to take the whole engine out of the frame and apart to fix couple of gears alignment. It’s right there in front of you after removing couple of case covers with some seals. In other words when Polaris drops down their Challenger from 37k to 29k, then n only then I will say they are trying. Right now, I’m not buying anything expensive from Indian that copies a Harley design and is more expensive than a Harley. Fact is Harley is better overall.
@@Mr.FLOYDs Well thanks for answering my question, you are indeed regurgitating stuff you have read online, most of which is false. HD is using ancient technology, the three section drivetrain design is one of them. Almost every single other manufacture uses a single oil engine and drivetrain, HD is the only still using that, but thats only on their bigger models their other ones are switching to a single oil and combined engine/trans. And the mono shock is the future thats why HD is slowing moving to them on their other models as well. if you do some more research you will find a base model Challenger is around 25k new, you have to buy a CVO ST for 50k to even match the same performance in power, handling, and braking the base Challenger offers As far as Polaris buying them, thats a mute point and the way of the future, IMC is just another brand under their umbrella. Just how VW owns Audi, Lamborghini, Bugatti, and several other brands, does that make them less of a car? GO test ride some, and form an educated opinion vs spewing crap like "Harley is a mans bike" And yes ive owned HDs and several other brands, currently I have 6 bikes. Only three of them are IMC products. ;)
Great to hear this Mike. As you know I have had an Arrow pin in my 21 Challenger Limited for nearly 16 months now. It took the clunk out completely from my bike. Excellent quality product from a great little Aussie company. Highly recommended.
Hey man. ARROW are legends. I'm fortunate to say I have the chieftain prototype with 106000km on my machine I've never had an issue with the arrow pin. The Arrow motorcycle guys are the best. Really please to see via your video Arrow have gone international.
Get a Harley. A real man’s bike…
@@Mr.FLOYDs have any facts and specifications to back up that silly little claim? Or are you just regurgitation what the internet has told you?
