Amazing video. The fact is if Denji was written by another author he very easily could've become an incel based on his experiences with Reze and Makima. Fact is that Denji is remarkably emotionally mature in this regard, never hating them, but just feeling sad and betrayed. Amazing video. The fact is if Denji was written by another author he very easily could've become an incel based on his experiences with Reze and Makima. Fact is that Denji is remarkably emotionally mature in this regard, never hating them, but just feeling sad and betrayed.
And the fact that he can continue to pursue romantic relationships in Part 2 (with yet again another woman who want to kill him; man Denji has bad luck with women) with kindness and respect shows that he's the furthest thing from an incel.
Even if he were hateful about his past experiences, that doesn’t make him even close to being an incel. Being biased because of genuinely bad experiences isn’t the same thing as thinking all women are shallow because they only care for looks/etc.
He can be allowed to hate those specific people, the problem arises when the trauma begins to become generalized and you stop associating it to the individuals and instead a group.

She doesn't actually tend to blame the world, we see with her monologue about loneliness that she actually blames herself for most of her problems, her mom's and Crambon's deaths being the best examples. She is much more awareof and thinks more about her own emotional state than Denji was especially in part 1.
The reason she talks about problems with the world more is not as a deflection from her own problems, it's because she's idealistic. She thinks about morality a lot more than Denji.

I think the scene of the popsicle with Makima was a call for Denji to take a step back and be patient, otherwise he would ruin all his firsts, that's why he now Acts great with Asa for example. I think Denji's rizz is at his best when he's just appreciating the company of those around him (see Rize for an example)

What Denji is, is a kid who had an extremely rough childhood and has pretty normal teenage hormonal impulses which he doesn't always handle well.
