Sharp spanner, got a kick out of that. Never heard that one before.

Always like watching your channel Lance, even at 0500hrs before we go off silage making, it's silly season in the UK on the farms. Keep them coming

I presume this engine is similar to the one in the W30. Cheers Ross

Rice in Clarion PA.USA have parts for the old Regulars and f20s. if you cant find parts in your country. you know about the FORDSON HOUSE and also RUSTIC RED ACRES IN USA has parts also, I know the shipping will be ruff on the pocket, but good luck with the ole girl.

If it is similar to the W30 motor there will be a timing mark on the flywheel. I timed the magneto how it said in the book I have from Fordson House I think and used a timing light to time it (via the mark on the flywheel) with the advance and retard and marked it. Fordson House has a lot of parts and gasket kits and also carby kits at least for the W30 which has a different carby. My carby has an air screw not mixture screw for the idle mixture which I finally worked out the last time I had it running. That makes a big difference. Not sure about the main mixture though. Jeff

Thanks Jeff, Looks Like Tom (Inverell) has a con rod and possibly some bearing shells so we will see what we can get locally before we order from Fordson House.

It's a two main bearing crank . I think the same or similar to what's in a 10 _20 . And yes very heavily made. Be careful with the manifold . I will look and c what have in the way of a manual for the engine .

Cool, thanks, Yes the 1020 does seem to be the same or very similar.

Hi Lance, is that tractor an International 15-30?

It is a McCormick Deering Regular a 1929 model, the engine seems similar to a 10 20.
