Giving Pond is about 200 feet from Jugtown Hill Road (on the left of River Rd. going North from the Frenchtown Bridge. The Quarry lake on Jugtown Hill is a working quarry and you can walk the path along that lake to see amazing mirgrating wildlife spring through early fall. The path is part of the Appalachian Trail. The Tinium Hills are just beyond The Giving Pond and an adventure is to explore those roads above 611. Loved it when I lived there. Enjoy.
Sorry this took so long... The fish are there believe me..... follow 32 north to just a hundred feet beyond the Frenchtown bridge... to the left.... used to be called Giving pond... but the sign says DCNR Canal now... parking as you come in at the front of the park... trails take you back... there is a boat ram also,,,,
Just wondered why anglers in the states hardly ever use a landing net, we use them all the time in the UK for fish over a certain size, saves messing around and the risk of a hook in the finger, can someone enlighten me.
This lake is awsome
