Yo i really need your jelp it wpuld mean alot so i got a new chain tensioner for my bike and my last one wasnt rolling so i got a new one and i got spacers in-between and it still wont spin am i doing it too tight?
Gray Goat made this one. He is working on an even better design, similar that should be available soon. The key to it is the thickness of the metal and having it machine cut. It can be used on quite a few different minis without changing a thing except the adjustments.
I got started on my db30s ducar build after adding the adjustable motor plate I've noticed I'm going to need this to add the gps stretch kit I've got gusset ready few hours of welding
Just run a slightly longer bolt and space the idler over. You can run a skateboard wheel style roller without the guides on the edges, too. This is a prototype....there will be refinements. As is, I wouldn't think anything would be overly stressed structurally by spacing the idler over.
What size of X Cap Bolts with Lock Washers are you using so I know what to pick up? OMB does not include those in their kit. Thanks for your videos and guidance!
Another question there is not enough room/clearance between the mounting holes and the clutch for me to get the cap bolts in. I need about an inch or more of additional clearance. Idea's?
@tp4028 I used short bolts and spaced my clutch out differently than most. I'm running an adjustable plate so that my engine can go further left or right which changes the offset.
I'll check with Gray Goat....these are really nice and simple. Nothing fancy and straight to the point. The final model is going to be even better than this one!
Nice one it really solves a problem!
It's super smooth for as easy as it is to install. I'm pleasantly surprised!

@@yomanz2fine is the idler wheel on a bearing?
Nice system there buddy. It works great. Good video 🔧👍
Gray Goat himself designed it! He is working on an even better version but this video proves the ease of installation with its universal abilities.
damn i cant wait i really need one of those
It's gonna snow AGAIN up here but I've had a few runs to test it out...SMOOTH operator!
That’s a nice set up !
Straight forward and simple! Gray Goat hooked it up for sure.

i have been looking for a good chain tensioner for my coleman bt 200 i replaced the engine with a Ducar 212 my next purchase is this tensioner
As long as you're running a centrifugal clutch/straight chain setup it can be applied.
thank you i have a max torque clutch
I’m working on a 212 Hemi ct100u as well . This is definitely what I needed to see . Good work brother🙏🏾
Awesome! Glad I could help!
What size Allen bolts are those?
5/16-24 on the gx200.
Sell me one
Ombwarehouse.com has them!
*꧁ 🔥🔥🔥 Terima kasih 👌 Semuanya super 👍 ꧂*
Thanks, You're welcome!

I'd 💯 buy pre-made tabs too if I ever stretch anything. I tried welding live axle tabs on and failed pretty bad. Ruined my ct100u frame.
@@fatbuddycat I've got plugs to stretch frame and tabs for big brake and kick tire back gusset kit to strengthen it up
That is a nice and simple set up but won’t work with my CVT :(
No unfortunately it is for centrifugal clutch setups only.....lol then again EVERYTHING can be modified!!
Imma make me one of these cos It sure beats welding to the frame
Omb has them in stock now too, idler wheel and all.
mantap bang
Its a nice, simple solution for sure.
Thats not a new thing ive done that on my colmen.
It was new from my friends at Ombwarehouse.com. Gray Goat sent me a few to try fitment.
Neat idea. What about the outboard clutch guys? Would the idler wheel catch the chain then?

@@fatbuddycat for sure. I like the adjustability options of a set-up like this for sure.

@fatbuddycat Did your plate work with the stock frame? Where did you order it from? Description/Part Number?
Thanks for the insight!!

It won't fit with the stock tank though.
I need a couple of them
