It’s 2022, still listening to the Carpenters. So calming and soothing. I’m 56 and now my 3 year old toddler asks to listen to the carpenters all the time! I’m proud to past this amazing music down to him.

I wish that my grandma is still alive yet still happy for she is at peace now.

That i may have selected friends but my parents are still the best comfort. That I could survive the heartache if ever I fail to reach my goals but I cant imagine lossing either one of my parents. They're not getting any younger and I've seen how difficult life is for them.

As I listen to this song, can't help but to be emotional. My Mama is fighting against Breast Cancer. I know that she's afraid, and I'm afraid too. I often feel bad because I am just a student, and still starting to build my life. I still don't have the capability to support and fight for her financially. So I promised myself that I'll alway be at her side throughout the process since I wouldn't last a day without her. I know in my heart that my Mama will survive. But I also have to accept the fact that Cancer is Cancer, there's a big possibility that it will go back even after the treatment. Her illness, fuels me to really strive harder in my studies and to be successful. So when the future comes, I could stand and fight for her in any ways. Hoping for the days where there will be no fears, no tears, and no pains. Where I can just hold her hand and laugh our hearts out.
