I feel like you're really missing an opportunity to highlight Panorama City. I lived in Van Nuys and worked in Pacoima. My daily commute took me through Panorama City. My boss used to say "Pacoima isn't the end of the world but you can see it from here." He was referring to Panorama City.
My wife and I bought our first house in Panorama City in 1982, about 5 months after we were married. It was on Kester Ave., directly across the street from the Sepulveda Recreation Center. There were a lot of new townhouse developments being built at that time and we thought PC was an up and coming area. That turned out not to be the case. There was a murder in the park, all sorts of gang bangers and other assorted lowlifes hanging out there. Sure there were some young families with kids who used the park but there were too many undesirables. Our complex was very nice and we liked our 3 bedroom townhouse, we just wished it was not in PC. The value of our place dropped like a rock and we ended up renting it out when we moved to Porter Ranch. We eventually sold it for a small profit and we were glad to no longer be homeowners in PC.
Where have you been, my man? L.A has never been worse, the content is ripe for for this channel! Even my once nice suburban neighborhood has been overrun by the homeless an criminals, heck yeah!
@@drjedly The West valley, Woodland Hills/Tarzana area. Some great shooting locations: Tampa off ramp (off 101), any point along the Orange Line, Topanga Canyon underpass.
@@drjedly Reseda is really bad as well, I mean, it was always pretty bad, but now it straight up looks like a third world nation in some areas. Reseda Park has a huge encampment over there. Pretty interesting, because the wild geese end up converging around them.
@@drjedly Colonia street (aka the ghetto), how you'll get shot if you wear Cowboys merch, fruit stands that multiply faster than rabbits, super over the top birthday parties (jolly jumpers on every street corner, pinatas, street corn, more people in attendance than a Nickelback concert and bass-boosted mariachi music), moms with strollers that take up the entire sidewalk, low rider bikes with huge handlebars, aggressive seagulls, dead malls, shopping carts everywhere, potholes/roads so bumpy a blind person could read them, Christmas lights on every house, constantly asking 'was that gunshots or fireworks', EVERYONE has tuberculosis (you'll be waiting in line for groceries & someone will be coughing), everyone is drunk and driving a pickup truck covered in mud, ice cream trucks with washed out decals, and white vans that you aren't sure if they are food trucks or crack transport vans, and auto dealerships on every street corner
Make a Tourism video for Hodge Road, its valley in the High Desert at an exit between Victorville and Barstow where people shoot guns and leave trash everywhere. It's quite a sight to be seen.
It’s time for a Granada Hills Tourism Video. What was once a great suburb has now been turned into one big homeless utopia. Just drive down to Devonshire and Balboa...
