  • Video Box Review of the brand new 48th scale AMMO MiG-17F plastic kit. This is Part 2 of my short kit review. A look at the plastic sprues, which are of course the most important part of any kit was in Part 1.
Here in Part 2 everything else in the box apart from the plastic is shown. The instructions, the fantastic Cartograf decal sheet, all the extras of this Limited Edition kit: canopy masks, cockpit 3D decals from Red Fox and 3D printed additional parts, like the ejection seat, wheels, pylons, MARS 2 pods or the pilots helmet.
This video is a new teritory for me, but hope it can show a bit about this brand new kit and help modellers.
Any comments or questions you have are most welcome.
    Have fun!
    Best regards

Thanks for the review! What is your assessment of the 3D printed ejection seat? I have read on ARC that it is oversized

    Hi @falconxlvi,
Yes, the 3D printed ejection seat in the Premium kit is oversized. Unfortunately! I measured my own (real 1/1 scale seat) and the 3D seat is wider by 1 mm. Which is a lot in this small scale and one would have trouble fitting it in the kit! Sad!
Speaking of the 3D printed parts in the Premium kit they are all strange! But in the review I only wanted to show what is inside the box and everyone could make up their own mind about the kit. It was not a build of the kit, just a look into the box, so the scale problem was not visible back then.
