Gardena Premium Metal Hose Connectors Review

A quick review of Gardena's premium metal hose connectors, with examples of how I use them around my yard. There are two connector types, each with two thread ends (male and female) to suit your needs:

That would make it much easier for an "older person" like me who hates to wrestle with the hoses or someone with arthritis. Thank you for the info.

You have the connections backwards. You are supposed to have the push/pull socket deals at both ends of all your hoses. All Gardena attachments come with the nipple that plugs directly into them. Also, having the socket (that stops water flow) connected to your exterior tap is a very bad idea. If you live in colder climates..... you want that water to drain out of your tap so it does not freeze in there and crack your taps open. That’s why Gardena has designed the system to be used as I have mentioned and the nipple is supposed to go on the tap..... not as you have demonstrated.
