This is the most challenging weeks work I have ever had on any #salvage car I have worked on. In this video we set about finishing the #widebody #Hyundai #i30n #priordesign #bodykit with help from Tom the fabricator and Callum the painter we work countless hours to get this done before our deadline.

Why do you never finish the cars before showing them? The cars always look rushed and incomplete. I like the videos, but this video could be paint and arches, another video for finishing and wheels, including spacers.
@@originalfuriousmonkey i just make videos that i think i would like to watch, a video of fitting spacers and wheels wouldn’t be of much of a video in my opinion. 😁 maybe i have a plan for another video though.
@@Warzone_2.0 Chris’ vids are supposed to show you that you can do it too and inspire you to give it a go, not so he can just take everyone’s car and do it for them 😂
Just wanted to point out for your ad you said, no tools needed and then whipped out a heat gun lol, I was wondering how you were going to use them with no tools. 😂😂

Drive past this morning on my daily drive to work and I must say it looks even better in person, and those wheels just make it look even better.
This is really impressive - kudos to you all - its great to see 'youngsters' so enthusiastic about working on cars and producing such high quality work. In my day it was Mk2 Escorts and RS2000's etc and we had great fun with those - why on earth did I ever get rid of them?!!

Three things.
1. Good to meet you, Mat and Ben at CCD the other week.
2. Those solder sticks sound just what I need for changing out my coil pack connectors.
3. Where is the paint booth you rent by the day? And how much per day? I painted my car in a £450 tent garage from Machine Mart on my drive. But sold it since and the neighbours weren't that impressed. So it would be good to know for next time.

If you spray water down in the booth it stops all the dust coming up onto the paint

Looks mint, cant help think you should of left the side skirts in colour though, it plays a mind trick Black and they dissappear and it looks weird.
Looks good, think I would have just done the fake vent sections of the kit satin black and left the rest body colour, also painted the rear badge and front grill surround black whilst you had the paint out

Body kit has grown on me now it's painted though you should have painted the grille surround gloss black to match in with everything. Much better look for the car

The wheels would look amazing in bronze or gold. Has it been lowered? it doesn't quite sit right. Hopefully the spacers really give it that bit extra.

@Chris_Slix Contemplating an i20/i30 rebuild as my first rebuild as a 48 year old and turning it in to a track car for my son and I. You've shown exploded diagrams and part numbers etc. and really interested as to what systems and/or sites you use to get that information.
Keep up the great videos on your own and with Matt as they're great to watch and inspiring to others to get out and try stuff.

If you were not gonna get the wheels in the 'correct' fitment, could you not have just spaced the factory wheels? Like I sad on the last video, a 9,5J with a 35 offset would have been perfect. No point in having arches and not taking advantage of the extra tyre width available.... the KBs do look amazing tho.

So i have to say, i´m to old for this s***! :D Sorry....but sometimes less is more! Widebody kits...special on a I30 is for the kind of people, wich also thinking that Fast and the Furious is real, with real physics :D But man....respect for doing such hard work!

Definitely needs the spacers and possibly a bit more panel fit tweaking? I actually like the colour but some graphics might help. You boys definitely put the hours in🔥👍

I picked up an I30n i think a couple days after your first video went live about this so it was rather exciting to see this series.
Personally not a fan of the wheels, but I think the homage to KB is a lovely touch and it does suit the wide body for sure!
The end result looks amazing, and those wheels were an inspired choice.
