We tried and liked the “Bradshaw Burgers”. We actually bought them at Sam’s Club. They were very good but not always available. They are football legend Terry Bradshaw’s brand.
Great comparison Captain! Bubba is always in my freezer, especially in the summer in case of last minute guests or midnight cravings. Now I'll most definitely try the Sam's Club burgers! Philly Gourmet makes a good sliced frozen beef for cheesesteaks, also something I'll keep around for the griddle in the warmer months. I thought the pork was a good idea, kind of like a sausage pattie, I'd imagine fresh would be better than frozen tho. AND I hope you had a safe word while blindfolded 😂
Great video! Enjoyed the Wally World frozen disc shooting match. I love burgers especially on the Egg. Some say you can't smoke a burger in the short time it takes to cook it. I respectfully and wholeheartedly disagree. My burgers always have a smoke ring. That being said, being red meat, I limit my intake and as such, reserve the occasion only for hand-smashed fresh 80/20 ground sirloin. Every burger is an over-the-top celebration!
I look forward to Sundays and another informative and inspirational, Captain Ron video. Did I misunderstand, you don't throughly thaw out the beef burgers before grilling?
Cool video captain, great work. I've had the same reaction with Impossible Burger during their early years. I recall paying $17 for a burger that I spit out LOL. But since then they may have improved some, based on small taste samples at box stores, I still would not want to eat a whole burger. Your top choice is a hint to mix chopped onions in quality beef patties. It can be coarse chopped or ran thru a food processor, I do that once in a while. I am just about to smoke a brisket, you've enticed me to throw in an onion burger!
This was a great test. I think they changed the formula for impossible burgers. I use to eat them, then I stopped for a about a year, and when I tried again it was nasty. I got a bag like that and threw it away after one try. And I don't have a lot of money right now, so throwing food away means that it really must have been nasty.
When Bubbas first came out 20+ years ago they were great. Their quality went down the tubes over the last 5-7 years. I stopped buying them a while ago.
The only way to cook a burger is over hot charcoal it doesn't have that grill flavor and smoke it's not that good. Everybody that cooks on flat tops doesn't have that grill taste
Thanks for this test, but I wish you also included Walmart fresh hamburger to see if fresh is work the trouble or just get the frozen top three. I often wondered why a vegetarian would eat anything that taste like meat that they hate.
I second this!! I have never bought meat from Walmart but have had people tell me it's good if you stick to certain kinds. I was looking for some fast, easy, pre-formed burgers and when I went online to see what the choices were, I sort of ended up with a frozen choice (the Sam's Choice, so I was happy to see your video!) and a comparable fresh choice in the Angus beef. While I prefer 85%, the Sam's Choice only comes in 80% (at least that I could find) so you'd probably need to compare fresh 80% Angus burgers to the Sam's Choice. Anyway, I got part of my answer and was definitely entertained in the process! Thanks for the laugh and I may do my own test. But then I don't want to be fair - I want the 85%, so that's what I would compare. Also, I'd compare to my favorite fresh ground chuck and ground sirloin patties from The Fresh Market. They have such great sales that they're a good deal every weekend for the sirloin burgers and on Tuesdays for the bulk ground chuck.
The real question is not the best burger to grill but the best beer to drink while grilling? I get the red sack of frozen burgers from Walmart, cheap and is very good, beer I enjoy Miller lite.. I remember when I was younger Budweiser was king.... Something happen ? No one goes for that stuff any more-
Though I can't eat mammal anymore back in the day Bubba was the burger for a frozen grilled burger. You didn't have them people went back home. I have tried the Impossible and am not a big fan either.
I am totally shocked that the Bubba Burger scored that low especially when I have heard questionable things about Walmart branded meats. Next do a Publix frozen burger test, that's where we get all our meat.
Sam's Choice is all full of pink slime filler, I think you only liked it better because of the added ingredients like cheese and onions. It's slime dude
I feel bad for anyone who can't make a patty out of raw ground beef. The handless and fingerless communities are under-represented. Everyone else is just fuckin' lazy.
We hope you enjoy! Have a Happy and Safe 4th of July!
I was at Walmart the other day looking at the frozen beef patties and thought to myself "Man I wish I knew what the good ones are..." Great video!
Hope you enjoy
I was a meat manager for years. Buba burgers were the only frozen burger that would be returned.
I was really surprised, I thought they’d have won!
You can manage my meat, any time.
Years ago, I was having company and bought them. I was embarrassed to serve them, but I did because I didn't have any others on hand.
@@lae32264dang someone the other day was telling me that they are there favorite frozen burger brand lol
I Agree the Sams Choice burgers are great !
I was really pleasantly surprised!
For me the Great Value burgers are the best, they have no added ingredients that I know of and grill up great for me.
They really were tasty
We tried and liked the “Bradshaw Burgers”. We actually bought them at Sam’s Club. They were very good but not always available. They are football legend Terry Bradshaw’s brand.
Great to know, thanks!!!
I'm so glad the impossible burger lost. Lol I was sweating that one.
Hahaaaa! I tried to keep an open mind!
Thanks for trying these Ron so I don’t have to!😂
Just kidding, maybe I would in a pinch😁🔥🔥
LOL! I really took one for the team Kath!
Flanders burgers are the worst
Are you sure you gave it your all?? Lol
LOL, yeah, I am pretty sure!

LMAO, I can always rely on you to make me laugh. The safe word was "more". It was not very effective.....
Thank you for an amazing and honest test! Not a fan of frozen burgers but I'll be looking for some Sam's burgers.
Great video! Enjoyed the Wally World frozen disc shooting match.

I could not agree with you more!
I can't eat Impossible "meat" It comes back up on me, violently!
I am definitely not a big fan
I look forward to Sundays and another informative and inspirational, Captain Ron video. Did I misunderstand, you don't throughly thaw out the beef burgers before grilling?
That is correct. You actually put them on the grill while still frozen.
Cool video captain, great work. I've had the same reaction with Impossible Burger during their early years. I recall paying $17 for a burger that I spit out LOL. Sounds like a great plan bud! What time shall I be there to eat?
@@FOGOcharcoal I got plenty of meat waiting for you. Happy 4th Ron.

I thought it was just me. Let's just say that the rest of the bag never saw the grill.....
Happy 4th Y’all!
Same to you and yours Miss “Pearly Girl” Tina!!!
Really wish Walmart had Holtens burgers and some other types that places like Win Dixie and Harvey's has
When Bubbas first came out 20+ years ago they were great. Their quality went down the tubes over the last 5-7 years. I stopped buying them a while ago.
I was amazed....and disappointed.
The only way to cook a burger is over hot charcoal it doesn't have that grill flavor and smoke it's not that good. Everybody that cooks on flat tops doesn't have that grill taste
We are big fans of charcoal grilling
We don’t have these in Walmart Canada 🥴
Sorry about that
Thanks for this test, but I wish you also included Walmart fresh hamburger to see if fresh is work the trouble or just get the frozen top three. I often wondered why a vegetarian would eat anything that taste like meat that they hate.
I got ya but we wanted to keep it just to frozen

Bubba burgers are the best out of whole list imo. But everyone has different taste.
Valid point you middle aged jabroni! LOL, that is one of my favorite words. Handle name award for the day goes to.....
Bubbaburgers are over 50% fat, tried them once, never again
Cheers from the Jersey Shore .
Thanks Chris! Let’s go for a burger at Jenkinsons!

Love this channel. Can we get a pulled chicken recipe please?
Thanks so much. I will gladly add that to the list.
Never tried the frozen burgers. I make mine from scratch. Ground my own meat.
That is the best!
How was the Philly gourmet burgers
Honestly King, it was so long ago that I don't recall
good info to know will try sams instead of bubba thanks....
I was shocked. I have always bought Bubba
I love this was a bline taste test
Thanks
Beef heart , kidney and lungs are 100% beef
Though I can't eat mammal anymore back in the day Bubba was the burger for a frozen grilled burger. You didn't have them people went back home. I have tried the Impossible and am not a big fan either.
I completely agree my friend. I always thought Bubba was best....
Wow. You seemed so confused. Let me guess. ..You put ketchup on your hot dog and steak sauce on your ribeye.
Thanks for watching!
Whatever happened to big Top burgers they were the best but now they’re out of business so I will choose Bubba
I would have guessed Bubba, too! I’ll have to check out your top 3!
I was fairly shocked myself
they are the worst....returned to store due to horrible flavor,,,LOVE the /Sam's Choice burgers
I'm guessing your burgers got mixed up. A very poor way of keeping them straight
Thank you
Flanders is the worst burger in the whole wide world. It's probably the worst burger in the galaxy!🤢
I think that I will just take your word for it...
Why you didnt use bubba burger angus beef burgers
Believe it or not, they didn't have them!
It hurts my ears that you are so close to Georgia and don’t know how to pronounce Vidalia. It’s Vie-Dale-ya. Otherwise, great video Capt. Ron.
LOL, I will work on that.....Vy-Dail-yuh....any better?😂
Hmmm, none of these is available here in Russia...:-)
Sorry about that!
This is too long and drawn out.
Hmmm, sorry about that!

We went with WalMart because they are literally everywhere
Pronounced vIdAlyuh please...
Thank you!

Tasty slime....

Well ok then....
