I gotta say, tonally, this is pretty different from the original. When Avenged Sevenfold plays it, the singer is a demon reveling in the torment of a sinner brought to Hell. They get some kind of sick kick out of making people suffer, rubbing in that their victim "deserves it". In this version, the singer comes off more sympathetic. A fellow sinner trapped in Hell, letting the new blood know just what they're in for and commiserating over their shared, tragic fate. Gotta say, I like that interpretation.
