Wildfire smoke in the upper atmosphere quelled the sun and made for great sea glass hunting. We found lots of green sea glass!

Classic New England shelling and sea glass hunting along the shore.
Channeled whelk, bay scallop, common whelk, calico scallops, slipper shells, knobbed whelks, marsh periwinkles, moon snails etc wash up on the beach.
We find a variety of sea glass: yellow sea glass, purple sea glass, and dark blue sea glass. Ruby red sea glass, olive green sea glass, pink sea glass, and lots of clear/colorless glass. Sea foam sea glass, aqua sea glass, emerald sea glass, and brown sea glass.

Great video! Try a black light next time if you want to make things glow! =). A UV light is for sanitizing!
