Thank you, thank you!!!!!! I think this is one of the best double loom knit tutorials I have seen! Her helpful and I've saved it in my play list. Ill refer to it often.
Thanks to your videos I have cast on the stockinette stitch, took 7 tries but I did it! I double knitted a stockinette panel and casted off! Now I am repeating 8 more times and I will have my first finished loom project complete! Thanks again!
OMFG this cast on/off makes the most sense of anything i've seen b4 . I'm still working on my first project , and this has just become my default way of doing a piece .
You are very very good at loom knitting ! I've been looming for about 2 years and i still have so much to learn. I just came across your tutorials and i'm so glad i found you🙂 The hubby & kids are going on a 2 day hike in the Catskill Mountains and i'm going to sit down this weekend and watch them all ! Great work you do.
If you want a REALLY sharp "hook", get a Cricut weeding tool. It's made for pulling up corners of vinyl and it's SUPER sharp and hooked just right for looming. You can find them pretty cheap on Amazon, or any place where Cricuts are sold.
I watched another video for Double knit stockinette cast on and it staerted with every other peg. Which is correct? Or does it matter. I want to make the Bag I found here on KB.
Hi Kimberly, love your scarf ,I just bought the same exact loom I am a beginner and I would love to see more of your videos so I could learn how to do it myself where did you learn did you use a book for instructions or do you know of anyone else who does the same loom videos do you know how to make headbands if you do we would love to see them
I hope you still answer questions here?? I really like your loom tool where did you find yours? I have been looking for a sharp tool as well as a curved tool for things like this tutorial. When you were doing what initially looked like a purl (as I watched I saw it wasn't purl) so the curbed pick ould be perfect when you cast off too!
You mention in the video to get a set of picks at an automotive shop or Home Depot but I was unable to find "picks" there. Is it called something else? Can you maybe tell me what area in Home Depot I can locate the picks? Please?? Thank you. The grip is cool too but until I find picks I guess I can wait on asking how to make the grip? Lol:)) I thought of using dental tools!! Help!! Thanks a bunch!
They are often called O-ring Hook and Pick Sets (also Pick Sets or just Hook Sets) in most stores including “big box discount store” hardware departments. Some have long handles, some have shorter handles. I prefer shorter. Sets usually have 4 differently angled picks in a pack. Hope this helps.

Van Etten, o agree with you. First one that explain clear and Concise. Thank you for sharing. I am new to loom knit, and my work is always loose!

This is amazing 👏 thank you
Great job. Thank you so much.
Hi Kimberly, I end up with a very long loop at the end of my cast on. Every time. Can you tell me when I am doing wrong?

Do we still need to use the anchor yarn?
do you flip your loom around after finishing a row?

I would really like to know the answers to the pick questions also please!

For information about grips, do a TH-cam search for Hook Cover Grip. Grips are made with loom bands.
Did you get the loom from KB Looms. from a kit "Loom Knitting Basic kit"???
Brenda W I got it from Joann's. and yes. It's the Basic.
hi, have you ever made dishcloth on these type of looms? I just bought the all in one loom
yes. I normally use the sock loom 2. 22 pegs on a side is the perfect size for me. you can see me making a dishcloth in my linen stitch video.
Knitting slippers on a knitting board
Can you apply the same method to a SLoom.
of course. that would be quite a task, though.
I would suggest doing the lucet cast on. it's on TH-cam.
What is the gauge of the loom?
Brenda W The pegs are 7/16. I don't know the size of the gap, though.
What cast on did you use?
chain cast on. just slip knot first peg, wrap the second one twice, pull tight, and repeat
loving this
