As of right now there's about a minute of black screen at the end due to a mistake by me during the edit. I've already gone in and trimmed it off in the TH-cam editor it's just taking a bit to apply. Thanks & apologies!
I've been practicing that last one for a couple weeks now. It's part of my warmup routine. 1. Do the mechanic you described 2. Jump off the wall and wave dash 3. Speedflip towards the next corner Repeat, make sure to change directions, add some ballcam, etc. Really helps get the hands moving
It seemed like I could never walldash, but I found a secret tip on Reddit of all places. To those of you who have very slow thumbs, try to slide your thumb up and down the button very fast, instead of pressing it like normal. This up and down swiping motion got me to walldash with no boost for the first time. Here is the Reddit post for those of you who want a more in-depth guide: I can do individual wall dashes at all speeds consistently. I use a technique from playing grand piano. They have a repeater action and one of the show off moves was being able to play a note twice so fast that it would make a "bell-like" sound. The trick is to get both thumb presses with one thumb motion. You push your thumb up across the edge of the button and then pull it back down. A slight rocking motion with your wrist can help. Kind of like what you do with the stick on a speed flip. I have my jump on X instead of A, which does help with anatomical position. But I've had it there for a long time. I can also generally do them without the thumb slide too, but it would probably be really hard for most people to move their thumb at the required speed without something equivalent to years of thumb training from piano, so I'd say learning the slide is your best bet. Pro tip, trying to do it as fast as possible will add extra tension in your muscles that will slow down the motion. You want the shortest, lightest (very important), smallest motion possible.
This was a lot more thorough than other tutorials I've watched which didn't specify to double tap jump when the stick goes up the wall so I was struggling. Thank you; Have a nice day.
Thanks for this tutorial, I just hit a clean wall dash shot and uploaded it. Thanks again, this channel is Awesome. ( I nearly put Epic, but that's a swear word in the Rocket League Community) 🤣
NO you're completely alright! Yes actually I've been getting a bit more healthier so my full voice is slowly returning which is such a relief to me after 4 years of dealing with what I sounded like before. It really put me off from creating but now I'm very motivated & absolutely no problem!
imo the only way to do it consistently is to learn how to mash (and not fuck up your joints too bad while doing it) the actual timing / rhythm is not that mysterious

I keep jumping off the wall 😮💨
@cblocc5988 I guess I'm just bad🙄, how fast that has to be😮💨, I'm clicking fast 🤷♂️
@@gtsport3881 at least 10 clicks per second you can do it with 6-7 clicks but its very hard to time
@babiloniadylan lol, not really dude, Is not that hard, I figured out.
@@gtsport3881 nice man, yea its usually hard when beginning but thats good you got it man
My fingers cant click that fast 😭
My fingers cant click that fast Lol
@@ACEY.900 it’s not as fast as you think it should be a smooth motion

That's exactly right it's a rhythm
Not to be rude or anything but your thumbnail its like: not front flip.
But what you are doing is exactly that.
not rude at all the thumbnail represents when the mechanic is performed incorrectly and results in a flip into the wall
