I wish Topeka had another Loves truck stop on the south side of town. If the one on the north side is full my brother can't stop in. So he fills the tank we meet him there sit and talk for a short while then he leaves. So hopefully another truck stop with enough parking is in the plans. I remember the truck stop that was on Wanamaker road my brother came here back then. It was full most of the time too.
I don't have anything against Topeka and I actually like living here. I'm just surprised there's no comments because people are always complaining about it.
People say that when they disrespect Topeka I take it personal but I get angry that I lash out that I'm prideful of being from there well how can I not be it is a town that teaches you to be strong to rely on yourself it teaches you that sometimes in your life you have to struggle going to food banks going the clothing banks to soup kitchens going to find where there's food damn straight I'm proud of being from Topeka we don't raise cowards me don't raise people that back down from a fight even if you have a baseball bat we are a people that would die before we would ever back down we are a proud for people yeah we can get cocky at times but we are mmm some of the most loving and accepting people except for Westboro but we all know about that freak show menagerie but anyways thank you for showing Topeka Boulevard I've lived and grew up there I'm now been in Texas for three years because my mom passed away into 2019 I am a proud Trojan do that wasn't in 12 Topeka high school forever and always black and gold Trojan respect or death
Facts im from topeka kansas and im living in California now but mane i miss it out there the quietness is amazing just no beaches or anything but you can make how you make it out there always love for my hometown
@@elfulano5884 Topeka is a small city. No traffic problems even on the interstate. A kind of pleasantly boring place to to live. What you see in this video is about how it is. And, as a bonus, I think you'll find the rent extremely reasonable.
@@elfulano5884 You're welcome. Actually, there are a lot better places to view here. Downtown is dead and nobody much goes there. There are really pretty parks and a main street called Wannamaker which you can drive down and find every kind of store and restaurant you could ever want. Really not to bad here but, as I said, still boring. If you like stress free living this is the place to be.🙂
