great song, and a great man...thank you veterans for your service....i remember Jud being on the Merv Griffin show...my dad was friends with Jud, Dick Ayotte, and Steve Bean...all great men. Dad was supposed to go flying with those guys that day, but something came up and he couldn't make it..so i was able to have my Dad around for another 20 years..He never got over losing his friends that day, but i am thankful he wasn't with them...R.I.P. fellas...God broke the mold after making those guys, and i will never forget them

I saw Jud at a concert in Gilmanton, New Hampshire, many years ago. I'm just beginning to appreciate what a poet and entertainer he was!
