- When checking suspended timber floors it is important that we check both the upper surfaces and the lower surfaces as there is often a huge difference between the moisture content of both.
A failure to accurately record the moisture content means that we could potentially miss a significant cause for concern when advising our clients as well as leaving ourselves open to an allegation of negligence.
I appreciate that it takes a bit of time and effort but the pay off is very rewarding in that we provide our clients with an accurate diagnosis of any potential risks.
