Well.. He wasted it on extra things that were not really needed besides the food. The alcohol is worth alot of money when they can eat food at home lol
What I love about Jackie Chan is that originally he was supposed to be a replacement for Bruce Lee in martial arts movies but he made his own path and look where he is now.
To be a bit more accurate Jackie was one of *many* who were supposed to replace Bruce. Jackie has mentioned a lot of Asian martial arts actors suffered because of Bruce Lee's memory during those early years post Lee's untimely passing. Not their fault because 1) people grieve and 2) corporate more concerned about money lost. But Jackie always knew he couldn't be Bruce Lee so there was no point in trying, regardless of what big wigs of the Chinese and USA film industry thought. Jackie knew his best characteristic was humor and making people laugh, so he always stuck with that. Bruce was a serious, philosophical person whose humor was there but not a defining trait of his. Jackie only became something of that way after he "grew up" so to speak (he was quite a character during the 70s and 80s and not always in a good way he's ashamed to say), but never lost his good humor or that making people laugh always made him happy.
@@girl1213 oh I know and understand what you are saying. I was just saying that in the sequel to Enter the Dragon ( I helieve ) they had Jackie dress up and act like Bruce. Even to go as far as to use nunchucks like him. While Jackie hated he still made the movie because he needed the money lol, but after that he refused to do anything like that again.
@@baharchange yeah but it's a different experience here. You also get to talk to people using comments. This is also convenient for people who just wanna recall the movie without spending an hour or two.
y'all could have made this a full 12 minute video, and acknowledged the mini subplot of Freddy ignoring the last teaching, because he thought it was too feminine. Even though the very first person in the movie to really beat his ass was his auntie. Like, get over yourself, bruhhh, because it's literally the style that saves your ass in the finale! 🖖🏾😂
that is part of a joke, he refuse to learn Fairy Ho's style from Begger Sou because it was to feminine is a set up and the pay off is he invented his own Fairy Ho's style that is 10 times more feminine and win with it..
During those days people used their physical strength to do lot of work, hence their bones and muscles were stronger even in their old age. Now a days since we depend a lot on machines our bodies become weak at young age and even weaker when we get drunk.
Combination of Comedy, Action with story lines understanding. Watching Jackie Chan movies thousand times never a dull moment and will not be a waste. Jackie u are my HERO
What I learnt from this movie year’s back is to be nice to others and mostly learn new things or explore new ideas 💡 however he did a great job 👏 Jackie Chan
Ah yes. Getting scolded by your mentor for using money on food instead of booze.
