I’m in high school rn and tbh I’ve written stuff like this where it’s more relatable for kids and teenagers as well as adding a little bit of brightness to the lyrics because it’s conveys a sense of childlike innocence. Writing lyrics like this can actually yield really good results. I highly recommend starting with lyrics that you can relate to more rather than writing about a 25 yr old with drug addiction (I’ve seen people do this because they want to sound older and more experienced) because it will just be easier to write
