Can't beat the roller bearings! What size do you tend to use? I need to rebuild a reefer that I accidentally dropped and I'd like to try roller bearings.
Yes Mike! Its a 8mm outer diameter, 3mm inner and 5mm thick sealed deep groove ballbearing. It depends what size axle you have. I machine mine taper from 3mm to 2.98mm
What scale is this? Im not familiar with, in gonna guess South African (based on the SAR) model railways but its really interesting you can get roller bearings on such a small scale, i definitely dont think you can get rollers on OO/HO models
