There's no videogame or movie soundtrack that reaches this masterpiece soundtrack of Terranigma. I've first played it 20yrs ago and nothing, entirely nothing, reaches this game. So many many memories come up when I hear this.
Perfect soundtrack indeed. The ending credits song is just one of the best piece ever written for a game. Honorable mention to Final Fantasy Tactics' soundtrack, can't ignore it.

DissonantZero I wanted to release this one a long time ago, but I got stuck on the string runs and some other parts. I think it's actually the hardest Terranigma piece to orchestrate, so now that it's out of the way, I'm sure you won't have to wait nearly as long for the next one. I plan to do a lot more, and it's nice to know that there are people like you who want to listen to them. :)

Too bad this game never came out officially in NA. Playing a rom of Terranigma in the mid-2000s didn't leave the same impression on me than 8 years-old me playing Illusion of Gaia.

Terranigma is really hard to compare to the FF series since it's an action RPG, but overall, I'd say the quality of the graphics, soundtrack and gameplay is quite high by SNES standards. Perhaps it's at the same level as Seiken Densetsu 3 (Secret of Mana 2), but not quite at the Chrono Trigger level. The characters are not very memorable, but it's more about the world itself than the characters. It's probably one of my top ten SNES games.

Evil Lucario terranigma is one of the greatest games I have ever played. it uses a top down view similar to the old Zelda games. the place it truly shines in is the world, its story and the soundtrack
