First thing I have lot of doubts why they call this the Lion cave? Because if you look at the paws it doesn't look like that of a lion but rather a different creature. Kashyappa was a drunked king who was mentally down I highly doubt whether he would have had the wisdom to design and build a structure like this. If we assume it was built by Kashyappa how come the structure has deteriorated within just 1500 years, specially something that was carved out of a rock? Finally if it was built by Kashyappa why does the paintings resemble the paintings in Ajantha cave in Maharashtra.
