Jenson does the majority of his stunts with the Impala, he never wants a scene that he can not do himself. he actually spends hours working on his stunt and a stunt double is the last resort

I met Jensen at a convention and he was lovely to me. Funny and friendly and really easy going. Was also very kind and took a moment to calm down the girl in front of me, which was sweet to see. He was also really cute with a little kid who came later in line.

It depends on the actor and his driving skills, tom cruise for exemple never used a stunt double in the movies he was in
