ok idk if you noticed this edit disappearing two days after i had uploaded it back in september ............. i hate to be dramatic but the low quality was bugging me so much!! so i got rid of the coloring, i don't even care about "aesthetics", and went for a cleaner look.
while i was at it i made some changes editing-wise (just shuffling clips around tbh, or like tiny things) i also added the quote about behaviorism because @lonetruthseeker dropped it in a comment and it fits perfectly.
i just want you all to know i cherish and appreciate all the beautiful comments you left on the other version, i didn't deserve a single one ♥️♥️♥️

exactly. i was just talking about this its such a weird intimate craziness thats so relatable because of how they portray everything hes feeling all at once without actively having to say anything (mostly because of how great the actors were in portraying those feelings and thoughs😅 along with editing and music choice throughout the show ofc)

I've always thought that Chiyoh's comments about Will and Hannibal were on point. In my opinion she was the only one that understood the nature of these two.
Yes but what i didn't understand Chiyoh's storyline completely. May be makers rushed it. I don't know why she would keep a murderer prisoner for so many years of her life and why she wouldn't let Hannibal kill that man.

I don't think I had ever enjoy seeing a character I related to be corrupted until I say this series. I used to feel like it was tragic and wrong for a character to be corrupted, and when it was a character I related to, felt like a personal attack, almost. But this? No, his corruption... or rather, his becoming, feels right. Natural. Freeing, even. I don't know, it's something I very much enjoyed watching.
I think for the case of Will, his "corruption" really is more a becoming it was really satisfied to watch I agree and I think it speaks to the darkness within all of us that wasn't usually represented as poetically as "evil" and "violence" is in this show. And that's a liberating portrayal.
This video is so good, it really captures what will’s arc is about. Violence is what he understands (like chiyoh said) but he could probably never be meaninglessly violent in the way hannibal is, because of his empathy.

I lowkey disagree. Empathy is what allows him to be so single-mindedlessly cruel when he wants to be, he knows how to hit exactly where it hurts the most. 'Extreme acts of cruelty require high degrees of empathy'.

@@whcares that's true, but i don't think he could ever just commit violence for no reason the same way hannibal does. yes, because of his empathy he can be even more cruel, but he's not someone who commits acts of violence simply because he wants to, it's almost always with a reason behind it. hannibal however, just does whatever he wants.

@@whcares yes, but doing something out of spite is still doing something for a reason. Hannibal does a lot of things just because “I wonder what would happen”, but will would never be able to detach himself that much. He would think and know exactly what would happen, so he needs an actual emotional reason to be cruel, everything he does is with intent

this is honestly the best hannibal edit i've ever seen. i just finished the show for the first time, and i wish i had watched it so much sooner. the way you put all the clips together is so stunning and unique.
This video actually inspired me to watch Hannibal, it came up in my recommended and I had no idea what it was. Probably spoiled a few scenes for me in hindsight lol, but worth it!

I actually watched the show because of some intriguing clips I had watched on TH-cam. I definitely spoiled myself something here and there, but Hannibal is a fandom where watching the series is really just the beginning of the fun (the emotion, the fascination, the artistic appreciacion, the curiosity). There are so many beautiful edits, animations, fanfictions to chose from, once you've got the basic plot and relationship in mind...
I definitely reccomend to give it a try if you feel these atmospheres and characters could suit your tastes!

It's a cloying, disturbing thing to wrestle with in the human mind sometimes. Instincts. We have a natural instinct for violence as much as we have a natural instinct for love. And we mask how much we want to act on these instincts because they make us feel vulnerable as much as they are powerful.
I've never seen a piece of fiction make you think about these things as deeply and as viscerally as Hannibal made me think about it. And to paint violence as something beautiful because these people believe it to be so. Just phenomenal.
This video paints that picture that they so expertly puzzled this show to challenge the viewer to put together alongside the characters, so well. Great choice of song, scenes, and dialogue overlays. Beautifully done.
I watched this one 2 years ago and lost track of it and found it again after I rewatched the show recently. And it's nice to experience it once again, I must say, it reiginited my already burning love for Will Graham.

I have to say, I didn't catch this the first time but my god... this is so finely crafted!! This style of satisfying and very specificly organized sequences is what I was trying to accomplish with every one of my hannibal edits but you've elevated it to a whole new art form I'm AMAZED by how seamless this is..ur videos r so exciting always a meal

Ok this is gonna gonna be long winded but I simply MUST say it.
I first found this a few days after you reposted it and immediately thought "this is is so incredibly breathtaking, I'm going to save the song on Spotify and move on" and I made a new playlist just for this, because I had never watched Hannibal I didn't get it that much.
The thing is its SO moving and SO well done I kept coming back to it and rewatching it over and over and this October I eventually thought, "might as well watch Hannibal, this video makes it look cool"
and OH BOY it changed my life. I am a completely different person and rewatching this now, it's like the planets realigned. So mostly I'm here to say thank you and stellar video

I'm amazed by the ability with which you give new life to lines, combining them uniquely. Somehow, watching your video feels like watching a (particularly good) episode of Hannibal I've never seen. Something entirely original, and yet so faithful to what the show could have been if only the writers had brought it to the full potential. The command you have of both graphics, narration and musicality is truly impressive to me; you're a real story teller!
