I just love the fact that Byul has a hobby that she really enjoys.. some people in this industry would usually say that they either don't know or can't find their hobbies because they literally have quite busy lives already, so I'm glad she got some balance in her life
a lot of idols are interested in photography too, i guess its because it fits well with their lifestyle, they travel a lot and have a lot of interesting subjects to photograph and they can continue their hobby while they're working unlike other hobbys that might require a dedicated time and space to do. A lot of idols have the konica and contax t-series film cameras, and also the zv1 and ricoh. But moonbyul definitely has USED used all her cameras and i'm surprised she has the first rx100 which was before the photography-tok viral times

I think part of the reason why Moonbyul takes such good pictures is because she always takes pictures of things she loves, people she cares for, and places she wants her fans to see. Photography is a hobby that embodies exactly what is important to her and what she truly values in life. It's such a meaningful hobby, as well, because more than documenting herself and Mamamoo, it has become this way for us to get a glimpse behind the glamour and truly get to know them in their most genuine state. If Solar is the one who leads and protects Mamamoo, if Hwasa is the one who keeps Mamamoo pushing past the norms, and Wheein is the one who ties Mamamoo together perfectly, then Moonbyul is the one who makes Mamamoo shine - because no one loves Mamamoo more than her and it is so evident that even her hobbies never stray far from them. Moonbyul has the biggest heart and she never gets enough credit for that. I hope more people continue to recognize Moonbyul as an artist and as a person. May more opportunities come her way and hopefully, the photo exhibit project succeeds! Fighting, Moonbyul-ssi!

I literally have no passion for cameras or photos, but hearing Byul talking so excitedly and showing her passion..... I could watch videos like this one forever.
I have two of that cameras that she has recommended. Ricoh is a good entry camera for people who like street photography and taking in discreet (most people would not have notice you are shooting) . It has a rich and contast b&w filter. Only issue is the battery is hard to find. Fujifilm digital camera has an impressive collection of in-built film simulation, good for people who like to try film effects and don't wanna bother to go to shop to develop the negative. But do bear in mind her XE4 is not a weather proof camera but for the price I think is still a good investment.

Ha, it's funny that MoonByul isn't immune to GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome). It's interesting to see her progression of cameras go from modern to retro. Now she needs to go all in and get a Hasselblad 907x with the CFV50Cii, or hopefully the CFV100c (Hasselblad had better be making one of those), and get the 55mm F2.5. The gear acquisition never ends!
I don't have the money for any of these cameras but how I wish I could have one of them. Some in particular take such pretty photos and Moonbyul really has great skills for it too. ✨

Ha, it's funny that MoonByul isn't immune to GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome). It's interesting to see her progression of cameras go from modern to retro. Now she needs to go all in and get a Hasselblad 907x with the CFV50Cii, or hopefully the CFV100c (Hasselblad had better be making one of those), and get the 55mm F2.5. The gear acquisition never ends!
