Resilient people. Watching these documentaries makes me appreciate my life because this could have easily been me back in Jamaica. Blessings to these resilient people. Love you all!!!
Yes Reality Tech TV,you're so right. I too am amazed to see how these people survive. I wish I could do something to help. I do pray that God will help them. I'm very fortunate to live in Canada and when I see what these people endure,I think what do I have to complain about? Sir have asked yourself that question?
Oh good. My favourite narrator is doing this video. When it comes time to negotiate his contract, PAY THIS MAN WELL! He is one of the main reasons these videos are as interesting and popular as they are. He is pre gold with his translations and commentary.
Watching this documentary today has made me learn more about other parts of Cameroon I have not been to. The road challenge is almost same everywhere from township to the hinterlands. I come from Mbot in Nkambe, Donga Mantung Division of the North West Region. I was so touch about the educational aspect of the children. Between 2013 and 2016, I made enormous effort to support education for the underprivileged especially in local communities. It was my dream that local areas like Yoko and Linte exposed in this documentary would be possible target but the Crisis raging since 2016 has send some of us off the country and even when you come back you do not feel safe to travel anywhere around the country. However, I still look forward to meeting like minded people so we can work together for the development of the young by supporting their education and engage in other community development projects that meets their social needs. Kudos to the team that made this documentary and looking forward to meeting you someday. Thank you again.
Around 5:30 I swear toyota never ceases to amaze me. That toyota Carolla barely looks like a car anymore and it still runs. Whether it's the Taliban in Afghanistan, isis in Iraq, or Africans in africa I always see toyotas running on a thread. The durability and longevity of these cars or trucks is simply amazing.
Watching this documentary, brings back my childhood memories. I worked in the quarry together with my awesome father for more than 14years. Just so you have some context, I'm only 29 now. But these experiences are what makes me, my siblings and my friends today. These beginnings are what kept the family together over a warm plate of meal. But those rocks were really heavy to be honest 😅😅😅
To think I thought a tire puncture on my new volvo s40 was the end of the world...look at these cars and these guys aren't even complaining! We forget how blessed privileged we are at times God bless these people
panicking, like whining, is a luxury hoarded by those fortunate & privilaged enough to have options. These folks have grave worries and tragic grievances; its a whole new ball game.
haha, some of our vehicles have travelled over 1.5 million km. What engine code do we have to worry about if the only thing that works is the light actually going on but is unreliable as well due to faulty wiring. My brother tried giving me a ride on a chinese bike that had traveled over 800 000km; i never climbed that death trap.
I only know Cameroon growing up loving the football team in the 80s and 90s loved roger Miller and makanaki, dangerous talented team, love from uk and Bangladesh, God bless the people of the African nations 🇬🇧🇧🇩🇨🇲
There’s a sad irony in that the children that must break rocks to pay for their schooling value it much more than many in my country who receive it for “free”. Here it can even be viewed as a form of persecution to be forced to go to school and those who need it most often cling to their ignorance like a crucifix in the storm. Education is a form of freedom and these children know that. It would appear that you often cease to value that which you don’t pay directly for. I am full of admiration for the parents too who have such aspirations for their children and feed their ambition. Love and respect from me.
Like his sarcastically fine tuned narration. Love this film to bits. Good work Tony and crew! I knew Corolla is reliable, that's why I still drive a 1988 DX Diesel wagon, but that the petrol version is THAT good, is news! 😂 😂.
I pray that the dreams of all these youngster's comes true,,they deserve a chance to see the world like those of us who've been blessed enough to experience it...
Professor of psychology!! I hope he succeeded. He’s one handsome man. 😆. I envy these men and women.. they work so hard and long hours and bearly get much. Beautiful country but sad situations. I pray for all of these beautiful people.

Very awesome documentary 👍 but the most amazing is how people take their challenges positively and sometimes I complain for simple things thank you for
I just finished watching all road doc videos on this channel. Every car manufacturer should send their new cars to Africa so they'll test them thoroughly.

I watch many episodes of this documentary...this one was the funniest...the way they treat their car...with the wheels that might fall off... no screws... the door that opens.
I am sick and tired of reading this from Kenyan people, go to the back area of your country and you will see the same roads and same struggles from population, so don’t write on social media ru*** like u have the best road light water all over country which is lie . As u see on this video this is not the city ok !
Salute to the people of Cameron hardworking Hope the government will make a change for its Citizens and build them better roads 🙏🙏🙏 good documentary much love from kenya🇰🇪😔🇰🇪👊👊👊👊👊
As someone from the USA 🇺🇸 I’ve never seen something like this, it’s so crazy and shows how adaptive people can be! I’m so thankful I don’t have to do such things, and have much respect and sympathy for the ones who do. Like some of the cars in this documentary didn’t even have a full set of lug nuts for their wheels! So sad 😞
Henry kimani by looking at these roads may our late president john magufuli rest in paradise he worked very hard to ensure Tanzania had good roads since when he was a minister to president.

All of these transit bus operations in the U.S can simply donate some of their retired buses overseas to all these countries that have to commute like this and you would not believe how grateful those people would have be👍👍
I mean... Yeah? I was thinking just the same thing. A bus doesn't has a certain number of miles on it - we retire it. Those people would get 50 years out of it and then recycle the parts. Donate one to each village along a road so they can drive their people to the next village and back or people can take one bus after another for the same as the cost of one of those 'taxis'. If every village had a bus, they would maintain the roads just to keep the busses coming and the next bunch of travellers (from the previous village, previous bus) moving along the links in the chain. Villagers themselves could ride free to the next village - after that, on the next village's bus - they'd have to pay the rest of the way to their destination, link by link, bus by bus. Every village would have a source of transport and a source of income from one donated bus.
"My car preferred these dirt road rather than paved roads". That translated to me as 'it no longer has ball joints etc. and driving on pavement the tires will wear down to the wires in half a day at best'. I can appreciate that.
If only the government and the politicians wake up from their greed and power hunger. These neglected people are always wide awake and are struggling every single day to make their living in a very harsh conditions. My heart goes out to these brothers and sisters.
I think it’s the same practically everywhere. Nobody politician gives a damn about those poor folks struggling daily. They would if they spent a week in their place! Wouldn’t last a day I bet

Don’t compliment them for being mentally incapable of creating proper infrastructure
I was a vehicle examiner (MOT), and I have to say, that Toyota is next level. I've seen some ruins, but this one takes the crown.
hahahahaha for real !
With a little bit oil in the engine they looked like a Tesla
Only a Corolla could look like that and still run

@@lukefarnham2119 yup...only Corolla can survive that long
Toyota should give this this driver brand-new car because he’s advertising for them for free
