On my M77 trigger all I had to do to get a 3 # trigger was to replace the trigger return spring . I had a assorted spring kit laying around and one worked nicely .
I did the treatment to my magazine box and it did wonders on the accuracy of my 1981 M77. Thanks for bringing this to the attention of Ruger owners.
