Arca produced all of Thank You Song as well as co-wrote it and she even has backing vocals in the song with twigs. It's such a beautiful finale that really makes you feel joy for how far she's come and how much growth she's experienced.
Also, the piano you hear in the back of tears in the club is from an unreleased mixtape of Arca's called circumflex, the track being DaWn. Aswell as tears in the club, Arca co-wrote the thank you song

Careless is definitely one of my favourite songs she's ever done, wow.
Even when she doesn't dig very deep and writes music more based on intuition and freedom, she's still so incredibly talented, creative and masterful with her work. She just gave us all these heavenly bops and I just love her so much.
That turbulent sound in the middle of 'meta angel' reminded me of the ultrasonic sound of an explosion. It may be even murmurs of the heart (like you hear during echocardiography) !

I really think it’s amazing how she had a more mainstream pop and r&b sound on this mixtape whilst still keeping elements of her own sound.

Like SHE wrote this long paragraph on her YT Community Tab ( post starts with “in the first lock down) kinda saying how she was at the end of the road making music after Magdalene.
And how she recorded FaceTime calls with friends and put clips of that throughout the album saying like "if you're lonely... you can borrow my friends on the mixtape"

I’ve been so in love with this album and don’t personally find it that different from previous twigs stuff. Also the album lost and found by jorja smith is a killer if you wanna check it out
I adooooooore this entire mixtape, but thank you song takes the top spot for me. It really grabbed me by my throat. I also loved meta angel, tears in the club, papi bones and careless. twigs and Arca is an incredible pairing.

My thoughts about the more “pop” feel such as in Tears In The Club, is more of her showing people that she can do pop if she wishes. It doesn’t make me feel any kind of way or that she’s not being true to herself.
Honestly, I hope it gets her more attention because she truly deserves it :)
I never really liked her music but then I came across this album and when I say Im in love with every song she has every created or featured, im forreal. She's been on repeat for a week now. I havent even listened to anything else😭

I really love the different side of her work and personality she is showing with this project. So fun and really paying homage to some influences that we haven’t heard in her catalog before. My fav tracks are Ride the Dragon, Honda, Meta Angel, Tears in the Club, and Darjeeling.

I feel like the purpose of Pamplemousse is to anger and edge everyone. We all expected a beat and you could very subtly feel it but there wasn't one. And then we had her putting that clip of her talking about the dua lipa collab as if she was funny 🙄🙄 we still want the collab
