A) Fury is not ready for *any world title fight with any fighter* - he needs 2 more fights (at least).
B) Hearn's logic makes sense in relation to what the Wilder camp is stating.
*I'm not being biased* when I state that Wilder hasn't had 1 fight where he has convinced me he is world class. Ortiz (who's 44 - some say 48) was going to fade. *Wilder's technique is really bad - not that of a world class fighter.* Wilder is athletic, fast & has a great punch on him but he is reckless. Why can't people just let these fighters make their money. If Fury is getting $20 million and Wilder is getting $20 million, then good for them. Them making money doesn't take anything from AJ, it just means that Eddie couldn't come to an agreement. Heck, it is more likely that a Fury vs Wilder 2 is going to happen before an AJ fight and that makes it tough if those fights and their buildup are remotely entertaining. AJ has a fight coming up that nobody is talking about because they completely got their momentum taken by the Fury / Wilder stuff.
I reckon a Fury/Wilder rematch is certain if the fight does happen this year. AND could happen over in the UK (likely if Fury loses and has his excuses - homeside advantage/not enough time.

You don't think Frank got involved just to stop the Wilder/AJ fight do you? After all, it's not like he's bitter or jealous. At all. Meantime, like him or not, Eddie Hearn does what he says and delivers good fights on solid cards - for the most part. True, some of his shows are not quite up to it but when judged overall, he is the top promoter out there right now.

I like Fury and still respect Hearn as a promoter. He does pay his fighters well and get them in title shots. I do still dislike the fact that Eddie and AJ ducked Wilder but you can't deny the fact that Hearn is a good promoter
