We were there Alaska 2009 and we went all the way to prudu spend 5 day from New York we paid $360 by air was fun but that no phone like today that time mosque was in rent supper market Mr Zahid Sahib was well know person from Lahore he give us lot of time n info We rent jeep $80 a day
Yes. It is. But there is a somewhat depressing side to it too. If Pakistan was even halfway better than what it has become, I would never have left. I can say this at 65 now, having seen and experienced a completely different Pakistan. Sadly, 90% of our people leave because of economics and safety issues.
It is really good to know that so many muslims are living together, a great thing. May Allah Swt make the children good muslims. In shaa Allah But sorry to know that muslims are not punctual in daily prayers. May Allah Swt make them punctual in daily prayers. Aameen

Masha'Allah. You got to see your dream place. I too have many dream places and trips I would like to do. Hopefully, Allah will grant me my wishes to see and do those trips safely. Among my lists are: 1. Going on the trans-siberian train 2. A land trip across Australia in the Outback 3. A trip across the US/Canada 4. A trip across East Africa from the highlands of Ethiopia to the cape of South Africa 5. A trip to Alaska (hopefully for a long stay with WFH option) 6. A trip to the Amazon rain forest and along the Andes mountain range in either Argentina or Chile. While in Pakistan, I couldn't have even thought of affording these but I recently moved to work in the ME. Hopefully, in due time, at least some of these will be more affordable but will still have to deal with visa issues and other stuff.
Recently got married, wanted to take my wife on trips around Canada and the US when she arrives because I never went anywhere since I was busy working and advancing my career. I never knew there was a place like this in Alaska, will definitely be looking to visit them when I get there.
