another OP strat is either of the mechs. the shriekers barely do any damage to it and lets you just focus on thinning them out. another thing is that the rock wall at the rear of the extraction pad is a blind spot for the shriekers dive bomb. It interrupts their AI and if everyone puts their backs to it, all you have to do is cover the sides where the other enemies can walk up.

Breaker Incendiary _Hot_ Tip vs Shriekers: Set firemode to Burst, stay prone, hipfire; after a burst on one or more targets, move to the next; While you're prone if you have Gatling sentries next to you, there's a very low chance for them to fire at you. Mechs, sentries, and the shield generator taunt enemies so you can temporarily lure them away from the drill with those; shield generator has a really low cooldown Bug breaches tend to spawn close together so Orbital EMS and Orbital Gas can really do work on them. For anything that's not a Bile Titan, the AMR (and to a lesser extent the Railgun) work really well. EATs seem to have better damage output than Quasar Cannons; it's awesome if two people have EATs, 4 rockets every 60 seconds is
Glad I watched this before playing this mission myself. Played this on difficulty 7 with my real life friends, and they had no idea how this mission worked, so we were struggling before the first drill. We barely held on as one of 'em had to survive 2 minutes by himself before the next revive. Once we all understood how this mission works, we took care of the remaining two drills, completing the mission by the skin of our teeth. Unfortunately, we couldn't survive the swarm of Shriekers long enough to make it back alive. In spite of how messy it got, I'm glad I got to play with them after such a long time, especially with this crazy new mission, lol!
I kinda love it. I think they could tweak the bug breach spawn locations to be outside the drill area, that would alleviate the feeling of unfairness for a lot of players I reckon, and let you be a bit more tactical about the chokepoints into the drill site. Rest of the mission is great though!
This mission is so much FUN. Bugged yes but SO FUN. My favorite moment was finishing it the first time, turning around and seeing CLOUDS of shriekers. "OH CRAP!! RUNN"
Stun granedes, stun sentry, orbital stun, resupply pack for more stuns. That's the way to deal with the drills. Obviously you have to bring quasar or Rockets for Titans and Charger. A gatling turret for extraction is recommended AND the fast pelican pick up IMHO
Fire, ems, gas. Have an auto cannon. EAT, flame thrower, and rail cannon orbital. I had incidenary breaker. It was breeze. You need communication with your team most importantly
Unparalled gameplay, of course you'd release a mission success and extract! Hope the next patch nerfs your poop gun (hope everything has been going as smoothly as it can and you're getting some rest!)
The little Shrieker-Spewer is doing well. I've got the nappy objectives down but only managed it full stealth once so far, those alerts seem a little RNG still.
You all know that you can use the dark fluid canisters can be used like a jump pack that kills bugs (and other divers) if they're close when you jump? Pretty nice secondary use tbh
Turn on your mic dude. Random players can be great teammates even if you’re the only one talking. Just voice what you’re thinking/where you’re going and it’ll be fine.
Teslas hit the drill sadly, and with the way it chains I don't think you can even avoid FF by placing it slightly out of range of the drill, it can just chain to it.
Take a break! You may come back to it feeling refreshed, whether or not fixes and rebalances have arrived yet. So many other games to play, it's alright to dip in and out, and hopefully when you come back the game's closer to how you want it.
Gatling sentry is the MVP. Clears the nonstop swarms and is absolutely essential to evac with all the shriekers.

I've seen 3 people so far complete it solo on helldive. But they couldn't extract cause there's way too many shriekers at the end 😂

also tip for the EAT is that if you pick it up and drop them right outside the pod, they’ll show up on the map so you can see them easily
