For the lack of better terminology, do you have to keep calibrating your rear derailleur when you mount the bike to the swift hub, and back to the wheels? I seem to to have that issue with my 11spd and 10spd bikes.
I noticed you have electronic shifting. I have a 10 speed mechanical with thru axle, do you know if you have to index the gears every time you switch between trainer and wheel? Thanks.
Hi Al - thanks for watching and good question - Normally you will not have to index the gears, because you specify which cassette you need when you buy the trainer (ie: to match your bike), and it comes with the trainer - so it will fit pretty much exactly like your bike wheel.
Hey! I noticed you mounted the legs the wrong way… At least the blue one. The triangle with (!) inside should not be visible upon installation :) Otherwise great video! Thank you for that!
Hi Ivan - good eye! I did attach it in reverse from how they've marked it. However - after several rides, I've seen it makes no difference at all. Thanks for the note -.
I've not noticed any issues here. But I rarely use the 30t cog, I more often switch between the 50/34 big rings, and try to run the rear gears in the middle cogs.
Did you end up solving this issue? I got mine today and have the exact same problem. My two attempts on it failed and the adapter got disformed a bit and the plastic is obviously slightly damaged now...
This was shot in a very “Alton Brown style” great video!
I had a trouble with the adapters as they just simply wouldn't fit into the hole.
What is the small black ring on the left of the trainer at 4:01 in its own ziplock bag used for? It wasn’t in my manual and I didn’t use it.
I just got mine and in the tutorial it doesn’t say what that is

Hi Ex J - No, I have not had the issue. See my answer below to more or less the same question

Do I need to put something between the rear breaks??
For it to pedal properly, do I have to connect the trainer to the computer?
I’ve loosened the quick release thinking that would work, but still the same problem
Yes.
Great video. Do you have any trouble when using the 30t on the zwift hub? Like loss of pedal tension?

I can't remove the adapter for quick release anymore. It got stucked. Do you have any ideas?
Vice grips worked for me.
