@@zcvp they switch from boy to girl and vice-versa multiple times throughout the show. Referring to themself “a girl” or “a boy” depending on the situation. It’s even a running gag through out the show that everyone is confused by their gender and no one is 100% certain about it. And the English dub refer to Najimi using “they/they” pronouns. I think they’re non-binary.

I honestly really like the voice actor chosen for Najimi and the funny, wacky personality, despite only being familiar with the Netflix adaption.
Just the way the voice is a tiny bit coarse, placing it perfectly in a gender neutral spot works well with Najimis physical appearance.

Most annoying character in the show. Najimi kept showing up at crucial moments and interrupting Komi and Tadano at pivotal moments. Honestly, if not for Najimi's interference, they would have hooked up already by now. And there is no such thing as 'they'. He is a bloke.
