AAAH I was waiting for this reaction!!! you guys really did justice in this video in terms of reactions and definitely got the hang of what NCT dreams main concept revolves around. but youd be surprised to know that nct dream has a good chunk of darker, more 'melancholy' sounding bsides that showcase their versatility. while their title tracks (usually) focus on a bright, upbeat sound to keep their youthful image up - songs like "drippin'," "119," and "smoothie" (which marks a more mature rebranding, its a title song) delve into deeper themes. there's also "icantfeelanything", "unknown" and "carat cake" which are more experimental instrumental wise. they have a lot of distinct SM sounding songs too.. that versatility is natural given theyve been active since 2016 and had to switch it up a lot to keep fans from getting bored of the same sound as for 'graduation' (one of the songs they performed on dingo) - it was made as a goodbye song.. NCT dream was originally going to be a rotational group. where, after each member turns into a legal adult, they graduate the group and another younger member is added. however, after the departure of mark from dream - fans rioted and NCT dream became a fixed 7 member group (which was great news for jisung (pink sweater), the maknae who broke down when he realized he'd be the only member left at the end of the graduation system 😭😭😭) - now theyre referred to as (Chil dream - which means 7DREAM ... get the wordplay lmfao? chil.. dream.. chill dream? if you guys want to keep nct dream reactions going, i think you'd like ISTJ based on its concept, mv and lyrics most :)
i hope one day you have the chance to watch NCT DREAM Candy's dance practice ^^ it's SO cool and they changed a lot of the moves while still maintaining the iconic ones from the original choreo
