One thing that most people don't get is that plate armor suits like these were meticulously crafted by the best armorers in Europe. If you were rich enough to afford one of these, you likely had it shipped from somewhere like Milan and that armorer was like a tailor, crafting every piece to perfectly suit your body shape. Therefore, it actually offers more mobility than some less protective or cheaper types of armor you could wear.
Most crusaders weren't wearing full plate, armor like the one worn here was only common towards the end of the middle ages. And even then, it remained expensive af.

Okay wasn't quite expecting this much flexibility and movement range from full plate armour OK so I've recently come to see that this is nowhere near the limits of full plate people really do be nearly sprinting at each other whacking one another with pole arms and it is a sight to behold full plate seems to have been nerf'd by schools cuz we never got told full plate moves like that

Yeah, the real barrier to using plate wasn't weight or speed, unlike in video games that need to be balanced, it was the vast expense of getting armour made to measure. Riveting some steel plates to your jacket? That's doable. Fully articulated armour that doesn't pinch, tug, scrape and lock up? That takes a really good armoursmith a very long time, and a not insignificant amount of iron and coal.

This is quite funny, Is there a chance you can make a list of all the items used here? So far I can recognise the Lord of Battles Gothic Cuirass, Marshal historical german geaves, pointed arm harness and the avant pauldrons. Is that a DeePeeka sallet? If so what bevor did you use for it?

Lord of Battles arming doublet-- deconstructed, patterned, quilted, and rebuilt with upholstery thread Lord Of Battles cuirass, Marshal Historical leg harness, Marshal Historical pauldrons, Windlass rerebraces and couters (discontinued. I also ommitted the vambraces in favor of pointing the long cuff of the gauntlet to the doublet). Deepeeka sallet in 16g paired with a Lord of Battles articulated bevor. Gauntlets were bought from Darksword Armory a few years ago when they were on sale for half off. Would not recommend paying full price. I believe there's a mostly-identical set from India kicking around somewhere for much cheaper. All of these things have been heavily modified and worked to fit. if you go back between about this time last year and this past April I have a long slew of posts on my Instagram about it ( @catsandswords )

Depends on the quality and style, but it can range anywhere from 2k to 20k. A kit like this is probably, very roughly 8-10k. Depends on if it's museum-grade, which isn't super easy to tell

For my engineering final, we had to make a working project. My first idea was a robot that powered itself through doing the cha cha slide and just because I was a sick bastard I wanted to find a way to make it self aware if I could. This video is pretty much what I envisioned… But by powering itself, therefore even at the end of humanity, he would still be going. Through the wasteland of the past world, a cockroach crawls through the destroyed remains of a McDonalds, when suddenly it hears a ghostly echo; “Slide to the left, Slide to the right, freeze! Everybody clap you hands!” The robot knows what it is doing, but it knows it can not stop. He dances for he is afraid of not only the darkness that will take him, but the silence that will follow….

It honestly depends on the armor too. One of my suits is pretty quiet and most of the noise is from the leg armor

Yes! The harness is worn with turnshoes, which are sorta just leather socks with a thick leather sole. They're really comfortable

Depends on the quality and style, but it can range anywhere from 2k to 20k. A kit like this is probably, very roughly 8-10k. Depends on if it's museum-grade, which isn't super easy to tell

This kit is all off-the rack, just with many hours of fitting. I never quite tabulated the total cost of everything, but I spent less than 2k. But again, I made all the garments myself and fitted the plate myself. Low cost, high labor

For my engineering final, we had to make a working project. My first idea was a robot that powered itself through doing the cha cha slide and just because I was a sick bastard I wanted to find a way to make it self aware if I could. This video is pretty much what I envisioned…
But by powering itself, therefore even at the end of humanity, he would still be going. Through the wasteland of the past world, a cockroach crawls through the destroyed remains of a McDonalds, when suddenly it hears a ghostly echo; “Slide to the left, Slide to the right, freeze! Everybody clap you hands!” The robot knows what it is doing, but it knows it can not stop. He dances for he is afraid of not only the darkness that will take him, but the silence that will follow….
