That is y its very crucial for a married couple who are both police officers to be involved in this kind of undercover assignment. Maybe it wud be good at first. But the moment you knew that the subject involved has something to do w/ur past..there shud be a lot of factors to consider. Thats y junmo was asking his wife not to get involved and to drop the investigation. Not only bec he wants to protect his wife but also he was already aware of their past.There must be another way she cud help her husband . As an elite officer she shud know it since there are lot of types of undercover assignments. As a wife not as an officer she cud have asked and listen to her husband first😊 she helped him in some ways but made the situation more complicated. The level of stressed that junmo felt it was manifested on ep 9 scene of gang war..thats y he went wild.
