I've had the pleasure of meeting Richard Elliot at the conference center, post-recital. I had a host of questions for him regarding his training, the organ, and his career. He stayed and chatting with me for nearly an hour. Class act, great person, world class talent, and blessing to us all. Thanks for sharing, Richard.
Rick, thank you for your great example to all of us! We are grateful that you were allowed to continue to share your gifts at the organ and thrilled that you were willing to give is up, according to divine will. Now your pedal technique is even more polished than before. Thank you for your friendship and the kind way you treat everyone!
I traveled to Utah to see my brother and sister-in-law off on their mission. The ward organist was none other than Richard Elliott. I was able to speak with him briefly afterwards; a highlight for me! I'm constantly in awe of his talents.
Amazing testimony. Rich is a very talented musician. His testimony is something to think about what kind of gift we have and how to use it to glorify God.
Your talents have brought me to my feet in standing ovation multiple times! I have not heard your equal and am so glad that you choose to share your talents to bring joy to Heavenly Father's children. Your testimony through music has touched my heart! Thank you! あなたの才能により私は何回も立て拍手をしたことがあります。あなたは自分の才能を使って天のお父様の子供たちに喜びをもたらしてくださっていますこと感謝しています。あなたの音楽によりの証が私の心を感動させました。ありがとう!
I like it! As an R&B musician (1st blues club gig at age 15 in 1967) I've always loved the engrossing organ sound, particularly when it's 'all stops out.' What an amazing tech, and likely an influence for Hammond B3.
If any of you are looking to meet Richard Elliott, you can look up when he does recitals on temple square. Just look up something like, Organ Recitals Temple Square. From there you should be able to look at some dates when Brother Elliott is performing. After the recital, he always takes a few minutes to visit with people. There, you could meet Richard Elliott, the great.

He is an extraordinary musician, and he is also humble. God be with you, Rick.
Such an incredible organist. I admire you so much and am lucky to be able to see you play.

I can think of only one word to describe your playing... INCREDIBLE !! Thank you.
A message - while you cannot do everything, what you can do, do it well and with Passion. Be ALL in!
