I Thought today would be a good time to go over the cost of the tahoe. I wanted to add up how much I have spent to get the tahoe or lohoe to this level. I also wanted to make it because about an hour after filming it sold. Yes I know that will upset some people but sometimes you have to sell to make room for other cars or projects. I only bought it for a winter driver and now that winter is over it was time for it to go. Let me know what you think I should replace it with.

2001 Tahoe LS we put a supercharger on it with only a hundred and fifteen thousand miles the old lady had every oil change on record no rust we put 24's on it lowered it MagnaFlow extreme headers bigger brake calipers drilled slotted much more just a great vehicle in all great videos brother

It came out good, looks clean. I just got an 08 tahoe with 139k miles for 7800. Very little rust but I want to add a radio, put some new headlights and leds, add a backup camera, just keep it clean and simple. I started noticing the infamous tick, but mechanic said not to worry you could barely hear it. So I'll take care of that later on next year, maybe add a cam little above stock. One door doesn't open so I need to fix that.

Thoughts on the torsion bar issue. First, I would come up with a method to hold tension on the top of the torsion bar key. The noise is the key rising and loosing contact with the adjusting bolt. Second, from what i have seen, the best way to find a clean Tahoe/Yukon of that generation is to buy a Z71 model. Just some thoughts I had. love the channel!

I just bought a pretty clean 1997 chevy c1500. I gonna do a TWA motorsports restor on it.. hopefully this time next year it will be a brand new truck. Now I'm hopping I can find the patients to get it as clean as you get your trucks. Next week I'm hoping to start on changing the carpet and seats!!!

I can’t ride stock in any vehicle I own. My 2000.5 Z71 was lifted a total of 7” and my 05 TB was lowered 5”/7” and turned into a TBSS clone. Those have been gone for a while and now I’m looking for a GMT800. If it’s a Tahoe I’ll lower it, if it’s a ‘Burb I’ll prob drop it slightly and go with an overland vibe. I know what you’re thinking..’a lowered overland build?’ Yeah. I won’t be stump jumpin, the main use of my 4WD is in the snow. Plus, I know I can make it look sick along with unique.

Was wondering if you have that as well and what was the module you used to keep everything working like normal with the newer touch screen which I am planning to do my self.?

Just bought my 03 Tahoe sport utility and has 171xxx miles and paid 5200 and with the market today I say I bought it for a pretty good price.

I'm in california and got mine as a 1 owner with 115k miles pretty decent condition and paid 9k out the door after the dumb dealer fees but these trucks are still up there in price KBB said it was with in price range which is why I picked it up

Handles better but I never drove it hard in corners

just picked up an 06 white tahoe, talked em down for 3.6k. only 149k miles. i feel like i did a good job on price . 06 right now seem pretty high especially with high miles

Finally got my spyder tail lights and led reverse bulbs (same as what you put in). For the reverse lights is there any indication as to which way they install? Or is it trial and error? I remember you had to switch one around so I wasn't sure.

Did that harness keep the rear entertainment working? I want a new head but don’t want to give up tear entertainment....I have an 04 Z71 and I like the roof rack and there is no steps..the previous owner must have removed them... I thought about putting some fresh ones on but I kinda like the look of it... will probably remove the lettering off the back next..
I didn't test it but it is suppose to retain rear entertainment
Got a 2001 with 112,000 miles for 2500 best purchase I've made now time to fix it up all it had was q squeek in the ac tensioner guess that's why they sold it so low

Fog lights can be found on Amazon or Ebay. Bulbs are the same.

Hey Travis I can't thank you enough for your feedback but I have another question. I've heard of a device that I can buy to program the fob for my 2011 Yukon are you able to give some direction to the product as the stealership (excuse me ) dealership is expensive. Any help would be appreciated

Of subject question. I own a 2003 Yukon XL and I’m trying to put a spare tire hoist in since this one was missing when I bought it, any idea what size and type blot is used to bolt the hoist to the body?

In the near future I’m swapping a new 5.3 with some goodies under the hood I’m painting mine nardo grey and removing the roofrack and wrapping the roof gloss black and then new wheels and tires and not sure about what drop I want to go with yet

I got told about two weeks ago that my tahoe will be done for and rusted out in 20 years when I said in 20 years I want to have this because the value will go up I’ve seen high milage tahoe sell for $7500 plus and more and more are going to the junkyard everyday so now I’m building mine to prove that this thing will be a beast in 20 years I like proving people wrong so that’s what I’m going to and seriously the videos are great the tahoe snd sierra look amazing never been a huge fan of chrome but I will say you made it look good you did it right amazing channel

Damm going to miss the tahoe 4100 sounds like a deal my pops just got a 06 Yukon 185 k miles for 3500 and I’ve seen worse ones go for way more replace it with a tbss

So what’s the difference between a Z71 and say, an SLT? I ask because my brother has a Z71 Silverado pick up and I have a Yukon SLE and my Yukon seems to have a lot more options and such,,, is it something like suspension or something else that’s hard to see but a lot better?
Slt was leather and pretty much top trim level. Z71 is basically off road. Skid plates and shocks.

What is it about the moog control arms that eliminates the negative camber? I lowered mine yesterday and the negative camber is bad lol
The one I use adds an additional 2 degrees of positive camber

And yeah, I buy 194 LED bulbs an regular bulbs for vehicles in bundles, like 20 plus, alot cheaper, and yes, I am & was a Car Audio installer, and yes, new pac stuff for OnStar,Bluetooth, Bose, Entertainment in the back $200- I ve seen as much as close to $600 ! 😮

I was a question, so I just lowered my 03 Escalade 3 inches in the rear with springs. I noticed that even with the shock bracket to lower the shock when I lowered my rear end after I bolted up my shock that the springs are so short that they were just sitting free there. Is there any way if I hit a big enough bump that my spring can fall out? Lol just paranoid probably: I know people lower them up to 5 inches but just curious
I haven't seen that happen but yes if you jumped it that could happen
