"Go-fish" is classic fun for me. The feeling of knowing who wants what card and then asking them for it is really satisfying. Especially if you steal an almost completed pile, its down right evil. Ya'll should try it out.

Me and my friends sort of made and adaptation of spoons. The game plays the same but we play for airsoft gun parts and we found that this works best with 8 or 10 players because we needed enough round to actually build the airsoft gun. Of course we were wearing facial protection but the first person to build their airsoft gun gets to shoot the losers. Warning: don’t play this indoors.

Absolutely love that game, me and my classmates play it whenever we get the chance to. We too just called it games, and I honestly thought that it was the original name. So fun to see that others also play it. I live in the Nordic countries so I guess the game is kinda played worldwide.
Just an add on, i played with 8 people with 4 decks including jokers(wild anthing you want it to be). To balance the 2 clears all rule we required 2 2s to clear 3-5 of a kind, 3 2s to clear 6-10 of a kind, and 4 2s clears all. as president on my 4th term i enacted a new rule of free trade after taxes & return(office and scums exchange cards) and prior to election(play time) but 2s and jokers were not allowed to be traded. I won with 16 3s, 8 4s, 2 2s and a joker(that was played as a 3).
Card games are honestly one of the best things to do with friends. a couple that you didnt mention that are really good: President 500 canasta and finally mao mao's definitely a lot of fun to play with newbies, as you arent allowed to explain the rules. you only only tell them about 3 rules, 1, no talking 2, no talking about the rules 3, you win, you make up a rule (you dont tell the new rule, everyone has to figure it out)
My first experience of Mao was everyone just sitting there for 15min straight struggling to figure out the rule, safe to say some of them didn't enjoy it

I've played hundreds or probably even thousands of rounds of Nertz over the years, and it is still more fun to me than just about any card game or board game out there. I love that everyone is playing at the same time, so there is no waiting time, and it's constantly engaging for everyone. One thing I'll mention is that I vastly prefer playing it with regular playing cards over the official Dutch Blitz cards.
My 2 all time favourite card games are: -Thousand (it can be played in teams like Kemps) -Macau, specifically Pławno variation (the rules are on Wikipedia); what is so cool about it is that where I come from it's super popular and pretty much everyone likes to play by a different set of rules, so whenever you try to play it with a new group of people chances are that you will learn some different variation (they can get quite complicated, but that's just makes it more fun^^)
Wow I’m really late to this. Anyways, one card game that I love playing that I learned as Gorilla involves 1,2,3,4,or 6 people, the middle numbers being a sweet spot for fun. The deck is shuffled and split into 13 piles of 4 face down. They are then distributed evenly among the players (still face down and in the separate piles) with the extra deck flipped up and in the middle where everyone has access to them. The goal is to get four of a kind in all of your piles using the shared market in the middle. Rules: 1. You can only look at one pile at a time. You can not hold two at the same time. 2. When swapping with the market, you must place your card down first before picking up the one you want. In other words, each pile can have no more than 4 cards at once and must have 4 when you put it down 3. When using the market, cards must be placed to be equally accessible to all players, not just to whoever put it down. This is important for the following rule. 4. You are not allowed to switch cards between two separate piles. If you wish to swap between your piles, you must move the card from the first pile into the market by trading, set your first pile down, then pick up your desired pile and make the trade. ( if someone predicts you want to swap a card into another pile, they have the chance to stop you) 5. Progress isn’t meant to be hidden. Every time you complete a four of a kind, the pile must be face up, as someone can check if they have a card you claim to have gotten a four of a kind with. 6. The winner must have all their piles face up and declare “done” when they are done. Everyone else can still race for other placements as someone winning doesn’t prevent anyone else from getting all four of a kind. I mentioned that it can be played with one person, that would work like solitaire and just be a time trial to see how fast you can get all four of a kinds. A funny moment that happened to me while playing with a friend is that we ended up on our last pile each and paused for a moment for someone to trade the card we needed, only to realize that the market itself was four of a kind. I threw my pile down on the market and picked up the four of a kind for the win.
I played that BS game with my friends and one of them said "five eights", we laughed and that's how we started playing BS with two decks, so 104 cards.
Im in a scouting group and we play giant spoons all the time! It works the same, except every team is standing in a giant cirkle, and 1p on your team has to run in order to get the cards to the next team. Instead of grabbing a spoon, everyone needs to run to the middle and make a human pile. Last team to get onto the pile is out!
We play war a bit different.. when a war is declared, we open 5 cards face up and add the values of those 5 cards.. the player who has the bigger sum of the values takes all the cards
On Scout Camp, all the Leaders and Explorers gather in a separate marquee to play Chase the Ace for hours. 1 life is 10p and each player has 3 lives. We have 15 or more people every night so the money bowl fills up very quickly. It’s been played so much that saying invented during these sessions have become common place in everyone’s language, for example, being “King’ed in”
My all-time favourite card game: Napoleon-4 to 10 players are recommended So the cards are divided equally among all players and , suppose you got the seven of hearts , you want all remaining sevens. So you guess who has,let’s say the spade seven and ask them if they have it(you can only ask for the type of cards you have).If they do the have to give it and if not then it’s their turn to ask someone for a card.After you only have full sets of particular cards then you can hide them wherever you want and start asking for full card sets.(you can’t actually look at the the cards you have so it requires good memory)Then when you think you have the full deck you say ‘Napoleon’. If you actually have the full deck, you win, but if not,the person who has the remaining sets asks you for cards and they win.Its a super fun game and I LOVE to play it wahenever I can.If you have any doubts you can ask me and I’ll reply.
By far my favorite card game is Nerts. You don't see it mentioned very often, but it is (in my opinion) the essential game night card game. It's easy to learn (you only really need to know solitaire, which most people do,) it's very fast-paced, and it's skill based enough to stay interesting with just enough luck to shake things up. It's like the Mario Kart of card games!
I played nerts for the first time a week ago. We were at a HUGE table with 9 players. So we also implemented a change seat rule after every round to keep it fair 🤣🤣the ends of the table was so hard to reach the other end

A great variation of speed is slam; again, only two players. The deck is split evenly, and a round starts by both players dealing their cards to five slots, representative of how klondike solitare starts. Before the top of both remaining play's piles are turned over, you may prepare. Two cards of the same value may be moved ontop of each other, allowing you to reaveal another card. If there is an empty slot, any card (or cards, if stacked) can be moved there to reaveal more cards. Then the round starts, and is identical to speed until one side has played all their cards in their five piles. They must 'slam' what they think is the smaller pile. That pile is the one they will take. The other side adds their remaining cards to the other pile. Both players then add these cards to the bottom of their unused deck, and another round begins. The game will get more difficult as it goes on, because the cards slowly get into an order which makes them very suseptible to combos. Once a player runs out of cards while dealing their piles, things get interesting. Both players play on only one pile, with the same goal. Then, once one player must slam, they need to slam the surface isntead of the pile, else they take the pile. Provided the player who ran out of cards dealing slammed the surface, they have won because they no longer have cards. I personally love this variation becuase it allows you to go back and forth, until one side blunders it all away.
This is also called Spit, and in the standard version you shuffle between rounds (though I've played it both ways and I think I prefer unshuffled too) also, we never played identical numbers on top of each other. That part follows standard solitaire stacking rules, though any value of card can be moved to the empty slot. The slap mechanism is great, we started playing Speed with it (not sure if "slap speed" is the same as slam, or if slam uses the spit layout). Makes the game more epic.

I play a similar game to speed called "stress" a lot. I also play a lot of spoons (except you have to make a bubble when you have 4 of a kind instead of taking a spoon)
About Speed: We (in my childhood) played Spit, which was almost the same thing but instead of one deck and one hand of 5 for each player you would have 5 or 6 piles of cards having 1 for first pile, 2 for second, ect with the top card face up, and you could only flip and take out cards after the face up one on top, kinda like solitaire. Then you place them in one of two piles (everything as fast as you can ofc) and then once all cards on your side are gone you try to slap the pile with the least ammount of cards. The goal of the game is to eventually run pit of cards. By getting to a point after some rounds where one of the piles is empty, and you have none left over, then slap it thus taking nothing and running out of cards since u have none left over to set up for the next round and you win. Or something like that I don't remember very well lol.
I’m a fan of all those you mentioned as well as Style, Egyptian Rat Screw, Scum, Liverpool (Rummy variant), GOLF, and those are just the ones with face cards. 😅 lots of games among my family & friends.
There's also a super fun Southern European game called Briscola/Brisca/Bisca (in Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese, respectively). It's a classic, everyone knows how to play it around here
Talking about my favourite card games I love playing both WAR and SPEED a.k.a SPIT. These two are just my love. But between these two, the most I love is SPEED.
+1 for the card trick in the beginning, wish I had that skill Though some of these games are more like classic/oldies. I'd say my card list is different. Speed is fun, a similar-esque game which I enjoy is Frustration. Big Two is a fun poker variant, especially if you play ranks (King, Queen, Merchant, Peon1, Peon2), where King has to give two lowest cards to Peon2 (in exchange for their 2 highest), Queen and Peon1 are similar but with 1 card. Hearts is a lot of fun too. As well as Nerds/Nertz? (like Dutch Blitz)
Idk the name of it but basically.. *The dealing* U have 3 cards facing down for all players (no one can look at them), 3 on top of them that are facing up so everyone sees and 3 more cards dealt to everyone that only they can see. Leave the excess cards for later. *The game* The goal is to get rid of your cards. You have to use the cards in ur hands first, then the ones on top of the ones facing down and then ofcourse the last ones. You have to have 3 cards on u at all times except when the excess cards run out. (When u put a card, u have to pick up a new one IF u dont already have 3 or more.) Three is the lowest card so if anyone has three of hearts, they start. You can put everything in the numeric order and the knight queen and king are basically 11, 12 and 13. If u cant place anymore cards u gotta pick up all of the cards but if u have either ace, 2 or 10... There are 3 special cards, the ace, number 2 and 10. U can put an ace on anything and u cant put anything on an ace besides 2. U can also put a 2 on anything and If u put a 2, u can put any card of ur choosing on it to basically reset the thing. (So basically u can put 2 cards on anything) U can put a 10 on everything besides the ace. If u put a 10 on any of the cards, they and the 10 are out of the game and u get another go. Same thing if you put four of the same card in a row. (U dont have to have all four, someone can put three of the same so u can put the last one.) I think that's it lol This is the longest comment I've ever made.

Another game I liked a lot is heart stopper/heart attack To start, the pile of cards[excluding joker] is distributed evenly between players facing down[the one without symbols] Players then take turns to play the top card of their deck while saying a number / symbol[ ascending order from 1,2,3,4 5 6,7 8,9,10,J,Q,K.]starting from 1. If the played card the same as the spoken symbol, then all players must slap on the stack of played cards. Failure to do so or accidentally slapping the cards will result in that player taking all the cards in the pile and shuffling them. To win, players must finish their stack of cards.
I have a game! It's called "holes". Its played with at least 3 players, 10 max. You need that many (let's say 3) of the same type of cards. So you would do 4 8s, 4 7s, and 4 5s. So you have 4 cards of the same type for each player. Then add a random card. Deal 4 cards to each player (shuffled obviously) and the extra card to anyone. It's like spoons. But instead of taking an object, you just put your cards down. The last person to drop their cards is given a "hole" using lipstick to make a circle on them or charcoal. Then when everyone is out (to be out you must have 5 holes) the 2 people left are considered the winners. Have fun!
We actually play the same or similar games with other names and mostly other cards 👍. And also you can play uno with normal cards if you choose which cards are the special cards.
You missed switch. Aim is to be the first person to get rid of all your cards. game requires 3-6 players and each player gets 4 cards. The trick cards: Ace changes suit, Joker makes the next player pick up 5 cards, king of hearts makes the next player pick up 5 cards, 5 of hearts cancels out those two so you don't have to pick up, 8 of any suit switches the playing direction, 7 skips the next player, any 2 makes the next player pick up cards, jack gives the player another go to place any card of the same suit on it. Rules: You have to say last card when your on your last card, if you make a mistake you pick up 2 cards, you cannot end on a trick card, you can only place the same suit on eachother ( YOu cant place a heart on a diamond) unless its the same number.
Played a similar card game to 'Baloney' called 'Cheat', but you don't follow the ace. You just have to lay your card in there numerical groups. So if you have 3 Jacks you might not want to lay them straight away, so instead you lay three single cards (facedown) whilst declaring you are laying 3 Jacks. If no one calls you a cheat (resulting in you picking up all the laid cards) then you've gotten away with your ruse, and still have the 3 Jacks in your hand. You could risk it more than once depending on how observing the other players are. Normally works best with two packs and 4 Jokers.
Ik this is late and this might not be a real game but you should try a game called paradise. (You prolly won't find a tutorial for it so imma just explain the rules) so basically yo put 3 cards face down in one row for as many players that u gonna play with, then another row but face up. You give everyone 5 cards, and the rest on the side. Someone puts a card down and you basically gotta find a card one above in your hand and put it down. Whenever you put 1 down, you grab one from the deck. If you don't have any, you grab the pile that will be made because you keep the cards there. There's also someone powerups. 2 you restart the number and you can put any card. 7 is a copy of the number that's put down. And 10 is basically a bomb that gets all cards out. When you run out of cards and there's no more on the deck, you use the 3 face up. When that's done, you have to use the face down ones but can't flip them. Whoever has no more cards wins. ( I probably didn't explain it well and you didn't get it but I tried lol)
The problem with many of these games is that they depend heavily on players being "good sports." In BS you can just call BS every time and entirely remove the bluffing component from the game, making it difficult and boring. In Kemps, you could make some complicated signal and then just keep a continuous stream of decoys going. For example, make the signal the number "185" and then just spout numbers the whole game. Your method in spoons can be somewhat effective even if you didn't force another player's hand. In general, I would consider "good" games to be necessarily robust towards this sort of semi-cheating behavior. My top 5: 1. Mao 2. Hearts (or all trick-taking games, really) 3. Rummy 4. Poker 5. ERS
IIRC In BS you're punished for calling out someone when they're telling the truth, and in Kemps you need to focus on your own cards as well as your teammate's signs, so doing decoys the entire game would be a bad strategy since it would not only impair your ability to focus on the game, but it would also make it easier for the other team to tell when you're doing a legit symbol since you'll have to do it multiple times/hold it for a while to get your teammate to notice.

Wow I’m really late to this. Anyways, one card game that I love playing that I learned as Gorilla involves 1,2,3,4,or 6 people, the middle numbers being a sweet spot for fun.
The deck is shuffled and split into 13 piles of 4 face down. They are then distributed evenly among the players (still face down and in the separate piles) with the extra deck flipped up and in the middle where everyone has access to them. The goal is to get four of a kind in all of your piles using the shared market in the middle.
Rules:
1. You can only look at one pile at a time. You can not hold two at the same time.
2. When swapping with the market, you must place your card down first before picking up the one you want. In other words, each pile can have no more than 4 cards at once and must have 4 when you put it down
3. When using the market, cards must be placed to be equally accessible to all players, not just to whoever put it down. This is important for the following rule.
4. You are not allowed to switch cards between two separate piles. If you wish to swap between your piles, you must move the card from the first pile into the market by trading, set your first pile down, then pick up your desired pile and make the trade. ( if someone predicts you want to swap a card into another pile, they have the chance to stop you)
5. Progress isn’t meant to be hidden. Every time you complete a four of a kind, the pile must be face up, as someone can check if they have a card you claim to have gotten a four of a kind with.
6. The winner must have all their piles face up and declare “done” when they are done. Everyone else can still race for other placements as someone winning doesn’t prevent anyone else from getting all four of a kind.
I mentioned that it can be played with one person, that would work like solitaire and just be a time trial to see how fast you can get all four of a kinds.
A funny moment that happened to me while playing with a friend is that we ended up on our last pile each and paused for a moment for someone to trade the card we needed, only to realize that the market itself was four of a kind. I threw my pile down on the market and picked up the four of a kind for the win.
I played that BS game with my friends and one of them said "five eights", we laughed and that's how we started playing BS with two decks, so 104 cards.
Im in a scouting group and we play giant spoons all the time!
It works the same, except every team is standing in a giant cirkle, and 1p on your team has to run in order to get the cards to the next team. Instead of grabbing a spoon, everyone needs to run to the middle and make a human pile. Last team to get onto the pile is out!

We play war a bit different.. when a war is declared, we open 5 cards face up and add the values of those 5 cards.. the player who has the bigger sum of the values takes all the cards

On Scout Camp, all the Leaders and Explorers gather in a separate marquee to play Chase the Ace for hours. 1 life is 10p and each player has 3 lives. We have 15 or more people every night so the money bowl fills up very quickly. It’s been played so much that saying invented during these sessions have become common place in everyone’s language, for example, being “King’ed in”

So the cards are divided equally among all players and , suppose you got the seven of hearts , you want all remaining sevens. So you guess who has,let’s say the spade seven and ask them if they have it(you can only ask for the type of cards you have).If they do the have to give it and if not then it’s their turn to ask someone for a card.After you only have full sets of particular cards then you can hide them wherever you want and start asking for full card sets.(you can’t actually look at the the cards you have so it requires good memory)Then when you think you have the full deck you say ‘Napoleon’. If you actually have the full deck, you win, but if not,the person who has the remaining sets asks you for cards and they win.Its a super fun game and I LOVE to play it wahenever I can.If you have any doubts you can ask me and I’ll reply.
By far my favorite card game is Nerts. You don't see it mentioned very often, but it is (in my opinion) the essential game night card game.
It's easy to learn (you only really need to know solitaire, which most people do,) it's very fast-paced, and it's skill based enough to stay interesting with just enough luck to shake things up. It's like the Mario Kart of card games!
I played nerts for the first time a week ago. We were at a HUGE table with 9 players. So we also implemented a change seat rule after every round to keep it fair 🤣🤣the ends of the table was so hard to reach the other end
I've played a lot of card games but I've never found one I like as much as Nerts. It's also known as Dutch Blitz.
I've played hundreds or probably even thousands of rounds of Nertz over the years, and it is still more fun to me than just about any card game or board game out there. I love that everyone is playing at the same time, so there is no waiting time, and it's constantly engaging for everyone.

Spoons is fun if you use a collection of very different spoons. Teaspoon, big wooden spoon, plastic spoon, baby food spoon, etc . . .
A great variation of speed is slam; again, only two players.
The deck is split evenly, and a round starts by both players dealing their cards to five slots, representative of how klondike solitare starts.
Before the top of both remaining play's piles are turned over, you may prepare.
Two cards of the same value may be moved ontop of each other, allowing you to reaveal another card.
If there is an empty slot, any card (or cards, if stacked) can be moved there to reaveal more cards.
Then the round starts, and is identical to speed until one side has played all their cards in their five piles.
They must 'slam' what they think is the smaller pile. That pile is the one they will take. The other side adds their remaining cards to the other pile.
Both players then add these cards to the bottom of their unused deck, and another round begins.
The game will get more difficult as it goes on, because the cards slowly get into an order which makes them very suseptible to combos.
Once a player runs out of cards while dealing their piles, things get interesting. Both players play on only one pile, with the same goal.
Then, once one player must slam, they need to slam the surface isntead of the pile, else they take the pile. Provided the player who ran out of cards dealing slammed the surface, they have won because they no longer have cards.
I personally love this variation becuase it allows you to go back and forth, until one side blunders it all away.

This is also called Spit, and in the standard version you shuffle between rounds (though I've played it both ways and I think I prefer unshuffled too) also, we never played identical numbers on top of each other. That part follows standard solitaire stacking rules, though any value of card can be moved to the empty slot. The slap mechanism is great, we started playing Speed with it (not sure if "slap speed" is the same as slam, or if slam uses the spit layout). Makes the game more epic.
IMO i would say Spit, it’s a speed variation, requires a little more thought, i love it.

I play a similar game to speed called "stress" a lot. I also play a lot of spoons (except you have to make a bubble when you have 4 of a kind instead of taking a spoon)
I have an old photo of my Mom and I getting the ultra rare quadruple war.
About Speed: We (in my childhood) played Spit, which was almost the same thing but instead of one deck and one hand of 5 for each player you would have 5 or 6 piles of cards having 1 for first pile, 2 for second, ect with the top card face up, and you could only flip and take out cards after the face up one on top, kinda like solitaire. Then you place them in one of two piles (everything as fast as you can ofc) and then once all cards on your side are gone you try to slap the pile with the least ammount of cards. The goal of the game is to eventually run pit of cards. By getting to a point after some rounds where one of the piles is empty, and you have none left over, then slap it thus taking nothing and running out of cards since u have none left over to set up for the next round and you win. Or something like that I don't remember very well lol.
I’m a fan of all those you mentioned as well as Style, Egyptian Rat Screw, Scum, Liverpool (Rummy variant), GOLF, and those are just the ones with face cards. 😅 lots of games among my family & friends.
There's also a super fun Southern European game called Briscola/Brisca/Bisca (in Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese, respectively). It's a classic, everyone knows how to play it around here

Though some of these games are more like classic/oldies. I'd say my card list is different. Speed is fun, a similar-esque game which I enjoy is Frustration.
Big Two is a fun poker variant, especially if you play ranks (King, Queen, Merchant, Peon1, Peon2), where King has to give two lowest cards to Peon2 (in exchange for their 2 highest), Queen and Peon1 are similar but with 1 card.
Hearts is a lot of fun too. As well as Nerds/Nertz? (like Dutch Blitz)

*The dealing*
U have 3 cards facing down for all players (no one can look at them), 3 on top of them that are facing up so everyone sees and 3 more cards dealt to everyone that only they can see.
Leave the excess cards for later.
*The game*
The goal is to get rid of your cards. You have to use the cards in ur hands first, then the ones on top of the ones facing down and then ofcourse the last ones.
You have to have 3 cards on u at all times except when the excess cards run out. (When u put a card, u have to pick up a new one IF u dont already have 3 or more.)
Three is the lowest card so if anyone has three of hearts, they start.
You can put everything in the numeric order and the knight queen and king are basically 11, 12 and 13.
If u cant place anymore cards u gotta pick up all of the cards but if u have either ace, 2 or 10...
There are 3 special cards, the ace, number 2 and 10. U can put an ace on anything and u cant put anything on an ace besides 2.
U can also put a 2 on anything and If u put a 2, u can put any card of ur choosing on it to basically reset the thing. (So basically u can put 2 cards on anything)
U can put a 10 on everything besides the ace. If u put a 10 on any of the cards, they and the 10 are out of the game and u get another go. Same thing if you put four of the same card in a row. (U dont have to have all four, someone can put three of the same so u can put the last one.)

Another game I liked a lot is heart stopper/heart attack
To start, the pile of cards[excluding joker] is distributed evenly between players facing down[the one without symbols]
Players then take turns to play the top card of their deck while saying a number / symbol[ ascending order from 1,2,3,4 5 6,7 8,9,10,J,Q,K.]starting from 1.
If the played card the same as the spoken symbol, then all players must slap on the stack of played cards. Failure to do so or accidentally slapping the cards will result in that player taking all the cards in the pile and shuffling them. To win, players must finish their stack of cards.
Judgement. I think that’s its name in English. It’s the best.
I have a game! It's called "holes". Its played with at least 3 players, 10 max. You need that many (let's say 3) of the same type of cards. So you would do 4 8s, 4 7s, and 4 5s. So you have 4 cards of the same type for each player. Then add a random card. Deal 4 cards to each player (shuffled obviously) and the extra card to anyone. It's like spoons. But instead of taking an object, you just put your cards down. The last person to drop their cards is given a "hole" using lipstick to make a circle on them or charcoal. Then when everyone is out (to be out you must have 5 holes) the 2 people left are considered the winners. Have fun!

We actually play the same or similar games with other names and mostly other cards 👍. And also you can play uno with normal cards if you choose which cards are the special cards.
War, Speed and BS were summertime staples during my high school years!
You missed switch. Aim is to be the first person to get rid of all your cards. game requires 3-6 players and each player gets 4 cards.
The trick cards: Ace changes suit, Joker makes the next player pick up 5 cards, king of hearts makes the next player pick up 5 cards, 5 of hearts cancels out those two so you don't have to pick up, 8 of any suit switches the playing direction, 7 skips the next player, any 2 makes the next player pick up cards, jack gives the player another go to place any card of the same suit on it.
Rules: You have to say last card when your on your last card, if you make a mistake you pick up 2 cards, you cannot end on a trick card, you can only place the same suit on eachother ( YOu cant place a heart on a diamond) unless its the same number.

Played a similar card game to 'Baloney' called 'Cheat', but you don't follow the ace. You just have to lay your card in there numerical groups. So if you have 3 Jacks you might not want to lay them straight away, so instead you lay three single cards (facedown) whilst declaring you are laying 3 Jacks. If no one calls you a cheat (resulting in you picking up all the laid cards) then you've gotten away with your ruse, and still have the 3 Jacks in your hand. You could risk it more than once depending on how observing the other players are. Normally works best with two packs and 4 Jokers.

Ik this is late and this might not be a real game but you should try a game called paradise. (You prolly won't find a tutorial for it so imma just explain the rules) so basically yo put 3 cards face down in one row for as many players that u gonna play with, then another row but face up. You give everyone 5 cards, and the rest on the side. Someone puts a card down and you basically gotta find a card one above in your hand and put it down. Whenever you put 1 down, you grab one from the deck. If you don't have any, you grab the pile that will be made because you keep the cards there. There's also someone powerups. 2 you restart the number and you can put any card. 7 is a copy of the number that's put down. And 10 is basically a bomb that gets all cards out. When you run out of cards and there's no more on the deck, you use the 3 face up. When that's done, you have to use the face down ones but can't flip them. Whoever has no more cards wins. ( I probably didn't explain it well and you didn't get it but I tried lol)

I've been playing these games since childhood. Some of them had different names, but hearing the rules i recognised them.
CARDFIGHT VANGUARD IS BEST CARD GAME
The problem with many of these games is that they depend heavily on players being "good sports." In BS you can just call BS every time and entirely remove the bluffing component from the game, making it difficult and boring. In Kemps, you could make some complicated signal and then just keep a continuous stream of decoys going. For example, make the signal the number "185" and then just spout numbers the whole game. Your method in spoons can be somewhat effective even if you didn't force another player's hand. In general, I would consider "good" games to be necessarily robust towards this sort of semi-cheating behavior.

IIRC In BS you're punished for calling out someone when they're telling the truth, and in Kemps you need to focus on your own cards as well as your teammate's signs, so doing decoys the entire game would be a bad strategy since it would not only impair your ability to focus on the game, but it would also make it easier for the other team to tell when you're doing a legit symbol since you'll have to do it multiple times/hold it for a while to get your teammate to notice.
Playing speed: at the end if 1 play has 2 cards and the other has less or more what is to be done?
